Gilad is back so lets say case closed and leave him to become and ordinary man who lives a very ordinary life without the media taking any interest in what he does.

However, it is time to put this story to bed and let Gilad get on with rebuilding his life and try and make up for the five years he spent not knowing if he would survive the day! I think Noam Shalit is not narcissist but a true and very humble hero. Few,very,very few have the moral strenght and the hability to perform the monumental task that this man and his woman ,Aviva,performed. If he enters in politics ,bringing along Gilad and all his family,Israel will gain.Israel will gain very much! Chag Sameach to all!

What can we learn from the Shalit's? All we can learn is to sleep on the job and be forced to free thousands of murderers... Shalit is not a hero, he was incompetent in performing his job which cost Israel dearly...

Noam Shalit is a hypocrite. While Gilad was in captivity he was leading marches up and down the country calling on the government to pay any price Hamas demand if it will get Gilad back. Bibi & Barak were telling Hamas no deal to your demands because they were to high. When the government started discussing what should be policy on how to deal with future kidnappings Noam Shalit was criticising Bibi and saying that he could have negotiated a better deal with Hamas. Shalit should not take be launching a political career off the back of Gilad which he is. He is Noam Shalit the way Yair Lapid is getting into politics and his platform is he is the famous Yair Lapid. If its people that will do good for the country you want in the Knesset then its not celebraty we want its people with qualifictaions and the fact that Noam Shalit campaigned to get his son back hardly is a qualification for being a good politician

Of course the left wing is using Gilad as a poster boy. The reason is simply to try and boost his father's chances of getting into the Knesset.
