The question is not whether they have decided to build a nuke or not. The question is if they HAVE acquired the capacity, they can go ahead assemble the nuke in just few days. Countries like Japan, Germany etc have the capacity to build a nuke within few days, but won't do so out of ethical reasons. The Ayatollahs can't be relied on and once the have all the enriched uranium, parts & technology ready, they can assemble the nuke within 3-4 days.

Of course, Israel would have to join the NPT and agree not to proliferate nuclear weapons and adhere to the other protocols of nuclear weapons states, but then Israel could propose changes to the NPT. The US drafted most of the NPT. So allowing another member state to abide by the NPT is according to the treaty. But Israel can do as it wills. That includes starting a world war. nobody will stop Israel. For the US to attempt to violate the NPT would not be an intelligent move.

President Obama is trying to delay Israel from attacking Iran because it would hurt his re-election bid. If Israel attacks Iran, oil prices will soar and slow the economical growth in the U.S. President Obama is more concerned about being re-elected president than the safety of Israel. I believe Israel will strike Iran before the U.S. presidential election. President Obama is likely to condemn this attack before the election because he and the Democrats do not want to alienate the Jewish vote in the U.S. But if Israel strikes Iran after the presidential election, President Obama is less likely to support the attack and will likely blame Israel for any economical downside in the U.S. It’s astonishing that President Obama and the world does not recognize that a nuclear-abled Iran is a threat to the entire world. Delaying any strike allows Iran to continue to develop nuclear technology. Even if the nuclear plant is destroyed, Iran will have developed the technology to start over or sell the information to other rogue countries. The United States need a president that understands this threat and who will defend Israel. This is why the safety of Israel and the world may lie with the U.S. 2012 presidential election.

Of course, our MSM will not print this article. It will not judge Obama's motives. But, many other outlets will. 1. How can anyone trust the DOD and State when they believe the Iranians want only peaceful building of nuclear componets?
