1. Their Muslim brothers?
James ,   Tel-Aviv   (04.08.12)
The patriarch obviously took care not to anger Egy[tian authorities and Muslim brothers either for that matter. What do Muslim brothers have to do with journey to Jerusalem? Did Mulsim brothers invite Copts to travel to Mecca hand in hand? Christian leaders are not was they used to be I have to say - today they try to accomodate their churches within political spectrum. No robust reformation and no figures like Martin Luther, Jan Calvin, John Knox. Instead we have an Archbishop of Canterbury who looks like a runaway hippie/computer geek and pastors like Shenouda who still consider that Jews are the worst enemies of Christianity. I wonder once he came to the Gates and was met my Apostle Peter, a.k.a. Shimon - did he get ready with some answers?

cowardice has no limits and religious men are not always brave. although, statistically, jewish religious men are the bravest comparatively. i state this for pedagogic, not nationalistic, reasons.

You will find that all you have been told about our country is a lie!
4. How can they afford it?
Michael ,   California, USA   (04.16.12)
The Copts in Egypt are the poorest of the poor. Visiting the areas where the live in Cairo is a terrible shock. But even among the very poor there are some who make it, I guess. Wow!
5. Where is the Christian world now ?????
Mike ,   NZ   (08.18.13)
One again it is that "terrible country" Israel that comes to the rescue of embattled Christians just as they did for the Lebanese Maranites and the Syrian Druze. Where are you E.U. or are you now totally dominated by Muslims . . where are you Ms Ashton.
