1. Wait... so it's the US's fault and not Israel?
Jacob Erickson ,   Holon   (04.08.12)
That's disappointing.... I guess now no one will care.

Spencer ,   Israel   (04.08.12)
On this festival of freedom I pray for the freedom of the Iranian (Persian) people from the dicatatorial rule of their extremist terror-supporting government and I pray too for the success of those striving to wipe out these terrorist leaders.

6. I agree with #2 Seymour Hersh he gets 1in 20 stories correct
Rod ,   Fargo N.Dakota   (04.08.12)
he's running on fumes from 20 yrs ago. As for the WaPo they had a story that Israel allowed only 2000 Christians from the Ye'Sha in for the Easter when AFP wrote 25.000 maybe WaPo doesn't know the difference between Ye'Sha and Gaza. Many letters were written about this mistake yet they refused to retract it.
7. Notwithstanding the "Strawman",...
Gideon Reader   (04.08.12)
...and leaving out the "Tin Man"(THAT would be racist) of the "public's right to know", how is release of ANY of this information helpful. And if it is helpful, to whom? It does seem to me that the class of person who follows employment in news reportage or it's less accurate nomenclature, "journalism", are not prepared by their study, their genes or their skills, for any productive, gainful or constructive employment. Bottom feeders all, with a very light dusting or positives. An obviously self congratulatory bunch of window, transom and keyhole peepers, moved to more modern means to satisfy their inclinations towards lashon hara.
8. Of course the US was behind it...
Lucy ,   Israel   (04.08.12)
....Israel would have blown the ops. Just look at the fiasco that happened when the IDF went into Lebanon. We should be on our knees thanking the US and Obama for saving our collective a@ses by confronting Iran in ways that we're incapable of. But we won't thank them, will we? Gratitude is something we seem to lack as a people.
9. who r you going to believe? none of them

10. To #8 Lucy in the sky with CZ
Gideon Reader   (04.08.12)
Gee Motek. I would thank ZerObama for everything he has done for Israel, but I am too busy thanking him for his Jimmy Carteresque high gas prices, an attempted coup against the legal and medical system, his tyranical overeach of EVERY element of commerce and life in the USA and his figurative (and if able to, his actual) wiping his butt with the constitution. And his incompetent non performance in his prime duty to protect and defend the US and it's constitution. He is better suited to Mombassa that Washington. And have a NICE day.
11. Lucy # 8
Eaglebeak ,   Left Coast, USA   (04.08.12)
You want to thank Obama? A president who has done nothing for Israel and is worse than Jimmy Carter? Read post # 10.
12. Lucy 8 an Israeli? More likely
Stephen in New York   (04.08.12)
an ISM/BDS zombie pretending to be an Israeli in a fruitless effort to gain traction for her fatuous comment.
13. First it was Mossad...
ACortez ,   Anaheim, CA, USA   (04.08.12)
...now it's the Americans. Next week it will be the?
14. Disinformation
Ben   (04.08.12)
Sounds like israel striking back @ the recent US leaks of Israeli covert ops by painting the US as the aggresor in Iran
15. NO SURPRISE'S here...
Bob ,   Charlotte NC USA   (04.09.12)
The secret squirrel world is suppose to be SECRET...those who play in this business understand what to do what and how to complete their missions...for either Republican or Democrat Congress or President. IRAN has been an enemy of the United States since (Mr. Alphabet) took over the American Embassy in 1979...now he's president of IRAN...what's the big deal???
16. it just as equally likely....
mark ,   usa   (04.11.12)
That some Iranian sciencists see the true ugly side of the clerical theorcary, and through great personal risks have pro-offered intelligence on iran to the west. When found out, the Iranian government is presented with a delema. Can't bring them up on charges of espignoge, the would reveal that there is opposition to nuclear program within their rank and file. So what do.... Given that their activities under Iranian law would pass on a death sentence. Frame their deaths as acts of western and/or israeli terrorism. The prefect solution to this delema, don't you think.
