The whole notation of a preemptive War is incorrect. The proliferation of this concept will lead to unilateral lawlessness throughout the world. This should be called a preventive war instead, a preemptive war is designed to eliminate a threat when aggression is present. Iran is a peaceful nation as history can validate and in the last thirty years, how many wars had it initiated? What acts of aggression has it been directly involved in? In the Iran-Iraq war, it only responded after being attacked as well as after WWII when the UK and Russia attacked as well. The whole concept of attacking another country because you think it will attack you is wrong. If you are walking down a street and you think someone is going to attack you, can you attack them first? Obviously not, it does not work that way. All this is happening to because of the fear that Iran is becoming too powerful in the region. Israel very well knows if it attacks it will not be able to sustain a long war and will eventually call for the US to finish the job for them. This is selfishness and fear controlling the action of Israel, Israel is a modern country and needs to take its role as one, instead of always playing the victim. The US has it's own problems right now and it has a duty to rectify it's own issues so it can sustain its vitality and ensure the safety of the modern world as we know it.
