1. Welcome letter
Rhonda ,   Chicago, USA   (04.14.12)
This is so priceless that I have to ask, "is this for real?" I hope it is.
2. Why not?
Josh ,   Atlanta   (04.14.12)
Let them march to the West Bank, let them cross into Palestinian controlled territory, then shut the security fence behind them and lock it. These people are pathetic cowards. They won't go to Syria either because they admire the brutality of despots or because they are afraid of getting hurt. They're kind of like the kids in school who always talked a big game, but when the fists started flying they were the first ones running.
3. great letter
Eddy Wertheym ,   israel   (04.14.12)

WELL DONE ISRAEL! IT IS TIME TO STOP "CODDLING" THESE IDIOTS AND THE BIGOTS BEHIND THEM. I HAVE ALWAYS SUPPORTED ISRAEL AND WILL DO SO. THE "PALESTINIANS"(ARABS WHO WERE PUT THERE BY OTTOMAN TURKS WERE UNWANTED IN THEIR OWN COUNTRIERS (syria, LEBANON, AND OTHER COUNTRIES) . SHALOM

to be "anti zionist... They are MERCENARIES
7. Silence on Syria
M Carr ,   Baltimore, USA   (04.14.12)
I would be interested in seeing a sampling of the flytilla activists in a formal setting under tough, impartial questioning as to how they can justify protesting the plight of the Palestinians while ignoring the slaughter of Syrian citizens by the Assad regime. Mind you, I have little sympathy for the Syrians but I would like to hear from the activists why the silence on Syria. I think it’s ironic that a number of Syrians that live close to the Israeli border may have to consider fleeing to the country they so love to hate.
8. Send a copy to their Mommies and Daddies!
Elad ,   TX/Israel   (04.14.12)

One of their paymasters is George Soros - a curse on him.
11. the bottom line
observer ,   Egypt   (04.14.12)
we assure you that Israel is making its own best to perpetuate this Syrian regime daily savagery against its own people. We are working in that to ensure that this savagery continues till you remake your mind. Being the sole democracy does not mean we are tolerant to gentiles' protest on our Jewish land.
12. Kol HaKavod Excellent letter!
Israela ,   Israel   (04.14.12)
13. Beautiful !!
Malone ,   Hfx   (04.14.12)
15. to #11 Observer
David ,   Israel   (04.14.12)
Please remind me what happened to the protesters in your country? What happened to the people that enter Egypt to protest violence against women and what goes in Sinai against refugees from Sudan?
16. Childish response
Bernard Ross   (04.14.12)
why wate time talking to the "activists". charge them and fine them a large amount of money .
17. Brilliant
Noel ,   Cork, Ireland   (04.14.12)
The letter cannot be discounted as every word in it is true and factual - the activists have no credibility and are only taking part in the flytilla in an attempt to boost their own selfish ego's.
18. @16 its the right response...
Jew ,   JewLandia   (04.14.12)
it is the power of the understatement and it rocks!
19. To #11
marty ,   Toronto Canada   (04.14.12)
Go back to reading your copy of the Protocols of the Elders of Zion. Israel has no involvement whatsoever in what is transpiring in Syria. What is happening in Syria is just one of many examples of Arab killing Arab i.e. the perpetuation of the Arab world's primitive tribal mentality.
20. # 11
Birdi ,   Israel   (04.14.12)
"Remake your mind?" how does one do that? Yes, yes, Egypt is such a great democratic country !! You are the last one to have an opinion here.
21. Great Letter!
Evan ,   Israel   (04.14.12)
22. I really don't know where this hatred is coming from
Chukwuemeka ,   Lagos, Niegria   (04.14.12)
Those fools shouldn't be permitted anywhere near Israel... The real question is that why are the arabs and europeans not protesting against the syrian regime? Europe is a failed nation and as such should be taken seriously. Hala Israel!
23. #16
alan ,   texas   (04.14.12)
I agree with the content of your blog, but not the title. I think the letter is an excellent response to the non-thinking anti-Semites who always bash Israel and ignore the real atrocities in the world.
24. Reason why they come here
Jacob Erickson ,   Holon   (04.14.12)
The reason why they come here rather than all those other regions is stated in the letter. Israel is the only place in the area where human rights organizations can operate freely. They come to Israel because it is easy. They don't go to all the other regions mentioned because it would take a more serious effort. It's just a lot easier to protest against Israel than those other places.
25. The letteris outstanding
Spencer ,   Israel   (04.14.12)
26. Only democracy (TM)
Fatih ,   Turkey   (04.14.12)
So Turkey turned into a dictatorship? When were elections abolished? What does this mean for NATO membership? Do we have to leave NATO?
27. Where is my money?
Anti-Zionist Pauper ,   England   (04.14.12)
I don't think whoever is supposed to be paying me got the memo.
28. They Don't Get
Grod ,   USA   (04.14.12)
paid to go to Syria. They are being paid mucho dinero to come to Israel and cause trouble.
29. The Turkish attempt at democracy
Leon ,   Seattle USA   (04.14.12)
I am sorry to tell you, Faith, but your "Turkish democracy" isn't. The Turkish attempt at democracy is so fragile that the Turkish military has repeatedly had to take over to rescue the state from Islamists. Even while I was visiting Turkey, there was a military rule takeover -- and the Turkish people were not at all upset by it; they were relieved!
30. LETTER
Ehai ,   London. UK   (04.14.12)
Let me be among those wishing to congratulate the authors of this welcoming letter to the flytilla protesters. This letter is just so just and brilliantly sharp to the guts of problem. Yes, they should all ask themselves, "How can Israel get into a peace process with the world around it as it is?". Wonderful demonstration of Israeli intelligence and resolve.
