Charles   (04.15.12)
Unfortunately there are some things meds just won't help.
32. It's a beautiful prayer
(04.15.12)
and I as a Jew recite it daily. It is way more beautiful than all the skull and bones tshirts or the sexual implicit slogans I see on some tshirts in Israel. You can find this prayer on youtube in Aramaic as well as Hebrew, Avinu shebeshamaim.
33. RELIGION IS A FRAUD TO FOOL THE MASSES_ ITS ALL ABOUT MONEY
WAKEUP ,   EU   (04.15.12)
34. Iasiah & Hosea (ref.) Lord prayer
Or ha gan ,   use to be usa   (04.15.12)
Doubtless you are our Father/IAM taught Ephraim. The Father only cares how your heart comes before Him not your clothing. This diologue pray opens in reguards to the synagogues in Mattew 6:5. The new testement is comentary on the Torah. 'Christians' the term did not exist until some 100 years after the destruction of the A.D. temple Yes Christian holidays are pagan they can open any old dictionary & find that out. Yes, Yeshua was the messiah. Subliminal messaging is used in all forms of media even the so called news!
35. #33 THE MOST INTELLIGENT TALKBACK

36. So what?
Georgie ,   Dreieich Germany   (04.15.12)
The so called Lord's Prayer is a Jewish prayer taught from a Jew to other Jews. So what is the problem? Wearing a t-shirt on a prayer service is another question ...
37. Diplomacy about nemesis is
observer ,   Egypt   (04.15.12)
when you say Christianity get along with Jewishness.
38. @ comment 21
Donna ,   Oregon, USA   (04.15.12)
yup, 'tis a beautiful prayer, taught by a Jewish rabbi, and definitely NOT our Mashiach
39. RELIGION BU$INE$$
me   (04.15.12)
religion is to sell and purchase money, selling things that everything is supposedly sacred but to the pocket of the seller and any other business, how do they live all religious? it takes money to live religious and also need money as the rest of us,everything is big business for the money $$$$$$
40. Who wears a t-shirt to synagogue??

john Darren ,   cairns-Australia   (04.16.12)
What you are posting is utter nonsense.Judaism is totally different from Christianity. You are very ignorant. " Hear ,O Israel, the Lord is our God ,the Lord is one".Shalom.
42. SO FAR FROM GOD AND SO CLOSE TO U$A
me   (04.16.12)
Jesus is in our midst to mend the social tissue damaged to re do it and that this tissue is more humane that can be fairer more human,on the other hand, americans consume a third of world production of cocaine, authorities confiscated barely 1% of drugs that are sold there and trafficking and drug means a business of more than $ 100 billion annually besides in the case of marijuana, legal manufacture in the US reaches the 10 thousand metric tons and its usefulness is now greater than the derivative of the production of soy or corn,we put the dead and the business is in the us,this perverse relationship must change,we have the case of commercial relationship always subject to the interests of big business corporations and american unions or the situation of fragility in the protection of the most elementary rights of workers in the us companies
43. To Clear Up Something...
val ,   Virgina.USA   (04.16.12)
Christians believe in only one God and that he has 3 forms all the time. Like ice, water and steam are the same substance in different forms. Also using X for Christ is not an insult. The X is actually a Greek letter that stands for Christ.
44. #40
T-shirt Israeli ,   High in LaLaLand   (04.16.12)
To answer your rhetorical question, many Israelis. Get out a little more, instead of just going to Beit Kugel every Shabbat. Next time you write a talk back this is what you say [asides from being sorry for party rocking]: "I just don't get people who wear T-shirts to synagog" I realize you are trying to state that no one wears t-shirts to synagog, and so the fact this guy came to a synagog in one is ridiculous. That is simply untrue and you come across as ridiculous when you want to say no goes to synagog in a T. I do it all the time. You may be of the opinion, and I stress opinion, that wearing a T-shirt to synagog is ridiculous, but if you had written it like that I would respect your TB and not retort. Instead you impose something you believe is a norm for all of us. It is not. As such I would kindly ask you to take a bar of soap and wash your mouth out in shame, asking for forgivence for your condescending behavior. Next time I go to synagog I am going in my underwear just for you.
45. The Truth
Josie ,   Jerusalem, Israel   (04.16.12)
Yes, it is a Jewish prayer because it was written by a Jewish rabbi and taught to his disciples. It glorifies the one G-d, our Father in heaven. However, after the Romans crucified Rabbi Joshua of Nazareth, his disciple Peter, Paul, Luke and other Jews, they set up an entirely new religion under the emperor Constantine based on Roman paganism, whereby they made this humble Jewish rabbi into a Roman god and directed their prayers to the Father, son and holy ghost. This prayer should remind everyone of the truth – that there is only One G-d who created the universe and all glory belongs to Him alone.
46. Robert Blum:
Shalom Hartman   (04.16.12)
You are mistaking this with "The Lord's my Shepherd". The Lord's Prayer, while not mentioning Jesus at all, is most definitely a major Christian prayer, known by all school children in countries which don't have separation of church and state. Now - some 40 years later, I recall the words verbatim.
47. There are so many walking around..
TruthMonger   (04.16.12)
..with Pictures of that Mass Murderer Cher Guevara, oh yeah, that's OK since he was a so-called Leftist
48. #8
Hillel ,   Jerusalem, Israel   (04.16.12)
Wrong. You are thinking of Mizmor LeDavid, Psalm 23. The so-called "lord's prayer" is something totally different, taken from Matthew 6 in the christian "new" testament.
49. @29 don't be naive. Past can't be undone by wishing it away
Miron ,   USA   (04.16.12)
but let's not grow roses over empty clouds. We have enough ground we can walk to make up for our differences. The difference is unlike flying in the clouds, which comes with dreams, each step we take brings us closer to an end. Only true friends can look past this limit and walk towards each other. Those stack in the clouds end up in abyss.
50. Stupid company without any sense or values-
elianna ,   Jerusalem   (04.16.12)
says there is no religious intention by printing a prayer.dah. do they think everyone is a fool? Go check your designers. fools can be found in many places no less at Castro
51. Reply to no. 8 Robert Blum
Mordechai ,   Manchester, UK   (04.16.12)
You are mistaken, unless you attend a "Messianic" synsagogue! What psalm do you think it is?
52. #20 Respect
Phil ,   Ireland   (04.16.12)
Do you complain when so-called Christian countries use the term "Xmas" instead of Christmas? As for the Lord's prayer, it IS a Jewish prayer just as, guess what, Jesus was Jewish. Show some respect to the origins of your beliefs.
53. Beware of Chinese Letters too!
Naoji ,   JAPAN   (04.17.12)
I am a Japanese who can read chinese letters. I see many Israelis wear T-shirts with VERY VEERY strange message. I guess it is not safe to buy a T-shirts with a message unless you understand the language and the message..
54. NOT a "Christian" prayer...
Larry ,   Los Angeles, USA   (04.17.12)
NOT a "Christian" prayer, but PURELY Hebraic/Jewish, very similar to many ancient Jewish prayers recited in HEBREW BEFORE Yeshua (Jesus) was born. Ynet, do a little digging before publishing articles and show the ENTIRE truth. Yeshua (NOT Yeshu or Jesus) was Jewish, kept Torah, kosher, the festivals, attended synagogues on Shabbat, etc.
55. quoting the exact Lord's Prayer
mary of bethany ,   singapore   (04.17.12)
After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen. Matthew 6:9-13 (now you decide whether this is harmful...)
56. Another angle
Joseph ,   London UK   (04.17.12)
The Lord's Prayer is the most basic Christian prayer. Would we want the Shema, our basic prayer, used as a decorative motif on a t-shirt?
57. Chritianity is monotheistic
Tara ,   Battleground, Wa   (04.17.12)
#24 Christianity is monotheistic. Please refrain from ignorant posts. Just as your Father is a son, and your father is a brother, and your father is a husband..He is still one Father..Just like we have ONE FATHER...who has 3specific roles..One: Creator, two: Savior (Jesus Christ redeemer and/or sacrificial lamb) and 3. Holy Spirit (comforter, teacher)
58. Just another example of tasteless...
Susan ,   Raanana, Israel   (04.17.12)
I've seen tasteless stuff printed on t-shirts everywhere in the world. The Asians are particularly fond of printing profanity. Young people think it's cool to buy these things. Even though I don't approve of it, I just ignore it. There are much more bigger issues in the world to worry about....
59. #44
Zvi   (04.17.12)
Actually, most people in Israel do not go to Shul on Shabbat and Chag in a t-shirt. They wear a white button down shirt and pants. A few wear those peasant-like "Beged Ivri" shirts. And this is the case even in the most far off Yishuvim.
60. Number 24, Number 6. Monotheism
Joseph ,   London UK   (04.17.12)
From a Jewish perspective, Christianity and Islam are monotheistic. What Jews find strange about some Christians is the sacred use of 'graven images' which appear to us to have an overtone of idolatry.
