I don't think Iran wants to make a nuclear bomb in order to actually detonate it on Israel. To do so would murder Arabs inside Israel too. Iran's game is nuclear brinkmanship. They want to build a bomb in order to detonate it in a controlled test. Why? Because that would accelerate and intensify American and world pressure on Israel to sit at a negotiating table facing the Palestinians. It would also cause oil price to rise.... making economy difficult for the world. The strategy to follow now is to support the opposition groups inside Iran. Praise them for their ambition to develop nuclear energy. (Nobody says anything nice about them!! There are some good people there.) Continue to denounce their plan to make a bomb and say openly that we know what their game is. A game of brinkmanship. In this game it is easier for Hamas to stay in power you see.
