1. Support of IDF
richarde ,   Boca Raton USA   (04.16.12)
I support the Israeli soldier who hit the liberal slime in the face with his gun. These so called "activists" are in Israel to make trouble and support the muslim terrorists known as Palestinians.
2. I'll be short and simple
Jewish Patriot ,   Galut   (04.16.12)
The Danish anti-Semite went to Israel to provoke the Israelis and got a little bit hurt and now crying. Eisner didn't go to provoke in Denmark with other nations' flags so he he didn't get hurt by army / police and does not cry. I hope it makes sense.
3. They are all Ehud Barak
israel israeli ,   tel aviv   (04.16.12)
Ehud Barak is known for his attitude to the soldiers who serve under him. Barak abandoned Shayetet on the Marmara. He betrayed the SLA. He let Madhat Yussuf bleed to death. He refused to help the wounded commandos in the Tzeelim incident. He abandoned the cadets of Bahad 1. His role in Sultan Yaakoub is not clear. Now Netanyahu, Ya'alon, Nitzan and "senior IDF officers" have all become little Ehud Baraks, condemning an officer doing his job, before they know the facts and circumstances. This as we approach a war with Hezbolla, Hamas and Fatah, reinforced by veteran Jihad fighters from Iraq and Afghanistan, armed with advanced weapons from Libyan and Egyptian depots, and directed by the Republican Guard.
4. To hell with PR
Sidney ,   USA   (04.16.12)
To destroy the career of an innocent and skilled military officer to please Amnesty International and the New York Times is a defeat for Israel. The IDF has a very difficult job and probably does it better than any military in the world. This officer is more important to Israel than Shalit was and consider the price Israel paid for him. Part of the reason that the enemies of Israel succeed in making Israel a pariah nation is that its enemies are using Israel's ghetto mentality against it. "If I am not for myself, who is?"
5. Why should anyone enlist?
Shlomo ,   Jerusalem   (04.16.12)
If the guys in charge do anything to Eisner - the populace should revlot and refuse to enlist - serving in the IDF is akin to walking a tightrope over a 1,000 meter abyss. It is time for the citizens to reject the zilzul of Jewish life that is ironically called Israel's defense forces. Maybe it should be called the de- fenCe forces as it removes all fences from our enemies as they try to harm us.
6. Disband the IDF
(04.16.12)
The Israel Defense Force isn't allowed even to defend itself, and uses more force to persecute its own than to defend its own. Why give soldiers weapons that they can use only under penalty of prosecution? Why would anyone want to be an Israeli solider today? I sure wouldn't. If an enemy of Israel attacked me I'd shoot him, and then I'd be prosecuted for it. Who needs the tzorus?
7. ISM has a long history of lying.Their video
PETER SM ,   MELBOURNE AUSTRALIA   (04.16.12)
Is by definition self serving, without corroboration it must be thrown out of court.,their credibility is zero
8. Are you kidding me?
Maurice ,   Montreal   (04.16.12)
These provocateurs are coming to an area under military control to seek for trouble, and the IDF is not allowed to respond? I am amazed at the double standard used against Israel, and the extent at which Israel criticizes itself which sometimes becomes ridiculous!
9. Let's be real
Natan   (04.16.12)
Those "activists" are nothing but Jew haters that are coming to support those who wish to destroy us. Had they demonstrated this way in an Arab country, they would be shipped back home in coffins!!
10. This people do adventure travel bc they have too much time!
Neo ,   EU   (04.16.12)
11. In a Normal Country
(04.16.12)
The protesting enemies calling for the destruction of that country would not be pampered but arrested & thrown out, or shot & killed. That is because the protesting enemies are calling for the destruction of the country the officer is defending. But in Israel, the treacherous governmental leadership of Netanyahu & Barak, as assisted by self-hating Jews such as commander Alon, strengthens the enemies & enfeebles the Jewish Interest.
12. Replace Ehud Barak with Eisner
(04.16.12)
and give him the Nobel Peace Prize and an apology.
13. going viral
bill ,   canada   (04.16.12)
i see the video all over the web great publicity more fuel for boycotts speaking of fuel i hope your enjoying the price you idf child killers pay and guess what its going up again its great to see the world boycotts strangling the pisshole apartheid israel in canada we make lots of money with high oil prices keep up the good work
14. Eisner Disclipine
Lynn ,   Knoxville, USA   (04.16.12)
Discipline Eisner? For What? For defending himself against a provocateur? Someone who wanted to start an altercation just to give Israel a black eye in the eyes of the anti-Semitic world. Eisner was acting as if the airport was a war zone, and it was for some of the insurrectionists who came to Israel to cause trouble. Give Eisner an award, not discipline.
15. make Lt.-Co.Eisner a Col.!
Jerome ,   Basalt, Colorado   (04.16.12)
he stopped the illegal blocking and of the road and the 2 hour stupid protest with no deadly violence with just one great blow with his M-4 mag. I hope he didn't hurt the gun!
16. Trials Decide Guilt NOT Snap Judgments
Steve ,   Ra'anana, Israel   (04.16.12)
Before one more politician talks let him remember how many times our tendency to accept responsibility before all the facts are known have placed us in an absurd position. Yes if all the facts are a brief snippet of a two our event, the attack looks terrible. What it looks like after a through review is something else.
17. Appropriate Act
Dan ,   Florida - Tel Aviv   (04.16.12)
When the "activist" threw his face against the rifle I hope that he broke a few teeth and reminds him daily that if he protested in Yemen, Saudi Arabia, Syria, Afghanistan, Iraq, Iran, Libya, Lebanon or any other Middle East Muslim controlled country they would feel the enlightenment of Islam by being executed. Their teeth would no longer hurt though.
18. Arrogant, Embarrassing Supporters
American Jew ,   New Jersey, USA   (04.16.12)
of clearly arrogant, despicable IDF behaviours not consistent with Judaism or simply a civilized culture. This is very hurtful to Jews, Israel & her supporters. Am embarassed 4u & pray 4ur enlightenment ...
19. Compare to Rubber-Bullet
Moshe Y ,   Ny, NY   (04.16.12)
I bet if he had fired a rubber bullet there would have been no problem. And what he did was less harmful than what a rubber bullet would have done...
20. DOUBLE STANDARD
A Very Heavy Stone ,   Florida   (04.16.12)
While Syria's Assad butchers his people daily for over a year now we have the media shining the spotlight on a soldier who has had enough of these enemy propagandists who have the same agenda of wiping Israel off the map as the Islamic,PalestinianArab hordes. No bullet for the Swede, only a butt. Why does the media not report on how the Muslim genocidal butcher of Sudan Omar al-Bashar has been given a free pass by the International community for killing so many people in Darfur ? THE OFFICER SHOUD RECEIVE A REWARD FOR SENDING A POSITIVE MESSAGE TO ISM AND ALL OF ISRAEL'S FOES.
21. They came to clash
Ralf ,   Paris France   (04.16.12)
and violence is part of clash, anywhere anytime. So what are they crying for. The IDF soldier did his job, there no reason to punish him.He has our support.
22. Arab Logo Makes Video Suspect
emanon ,   USA   (04.16.12)
23. Another Leftist provocation
David M.   (04.16.12)
The only reason the ISM people are there is to provoke IDF so they can get media attention. They could have gotten much better shots, and not just publicity ones, in Syria, but they are not interested in helping human rights but to harm Israel. I can completely understand that Eisner lost his patience. The best thing would be to send the leftist provocateurs back to theirs countries of origin and let them demonstrate there.
24. IDF acted appropriately
Sage ,   Haifa, Israel   (04.16.12)
I still think the IDF officer acted appropriately. It begins with a group of protesters trying to get past a line of soldiers. One protester shoves his bicycle into an IDF officer. They are acting like a mob trying to get past the soldiers. What did they think would happen? Did they think the soldiers would just lie down on the ground and let them pass to cause more trouble? I say these protesters are very lucky they acted this way in Israel rather than any other country in the Middle East.
25. The soldier did right
alex ,   USA   (04.16.12)
By not supporting ur soldiers we support those crazy activist. The arme should simple forbid any camaras whitin the demostration and deport right away those foreigners activist
26. He's my hero!!! Kol hakavod!!!!!
Ben Avraham ,   Tel Aviv   (04.16.12)
27. #18
Danis & very Jewish   (04.16.12)
You are the only one here making civilized sence.... Calling a Dane antisemite is stupidity...you´d need magnifiers to find antisemites in Denmark.....he was just a young, STUPID - ignorant loud mouth... and since when is it the "job" of an honorable IDF officer to hit someone with his riffle??? This is not the IDF I joined.... Those idiotic protestors should simply have been IGNORED completely...they couldn´t have "destroyed" our beloved country but despicable behaviour from a man in the most respected uniform can.............
28. I applaud the officer
Harrybaby ,   Canada   (04.16.12)
These activists are losers in their own countries and generally belong to the "spoilt rich brat" class of kids. A good thrashing would do them a world of good and possibly even shake them out of their marijuana bloated fixations. To the IDF officer: Well done sir!
29. Just give him a medal and let's close this "case"!
tom ,   tel aviv   (04.16.12)
30. #27 Comments
Lynn ,   Knoxville, USA   (04.16.12)
#27 In a word, your comments are nonsense. Hopefully, more evidence will reveal what an edited video didn't, that this Dane, like many other anti-Semitic Scandinavians, is an anti-Semitic provocateur and paid for his troublemaking with his jaw. Poetic justice he received.
