Let me remind you it is these so called activists who chose to starve. It is their choice not Israel's.They came to Israel to provoke and intimidate the IDF and take full advantage of Israel's democracy .This denish guy got the least what he deserved for challenging the duty of an army officer.Can you honestly say to what would have happened to these so called activists had they chosen Syria ,Iran ETC as there destination to protest ? Their are millions of people dieing of hunger in the world, but not the Activists. They are planning a hunger strike- for the purpose of propaganda and international media coverage. During World War II, many in my extended family died of starvation. They had no choice, but the Activists do. Rather than help to promote a peaceful resolution to the conflict in the region, the Activists choose to starve themselves. How many children in the last minute have died from hunger? Oh well, nothing more to say other than, in their attempt to starve themselves, the Activists have made a mockery of World hunger.

Lets just wait and see how long these morons refuse food in 'solidarity' with palestinian security prisoners. I have serious doubts about their commitment! Much more to their liking is confronting Israeli soldiers and hurling abuse including references to 'nazis, 'occupation forces' and the usual anti-semitic crap they come out with. My prediction is that in the not too distant future Israel will do the sensible things and call time on these idiots and bring an end to what is becoming a national embarrasment of Israel hosting these people as guests when their sole purpose is to delegitimise Israel as a Jewish state.

I still am of the opinion that all prisoners convicted of murder and carrying life sentences and those caught trying to commit murder/terror should be denied all forms of benefits. no tv, no hot meals, no news interviews, nothing. and if you are in jail for a short term for a non felony offense then sure give them some schooling help them rehabilitate. but those commiting Jihad, murder, suicide bomber, etc. get nothing.
