William ,   Israel   (04.17.12)
to "question" the Golani Druze's support for Assad.
2. 4 words that explain everything
William ,   Israel   (04.17.12)
"my family is there"
3. #2 william - you hit the nail on the head.
solomon ,   bklyn   (04.17.12)
And those same thoughts are with the other 'demonstrators' as well.
4. Return Golan to Syria
AL QUDS ALYAHUDI ,   QUDS HAKA ALYAHUD   (04.17.12)
so that they fire to Israel, and sending terrorist Islam famous bloodthirsty child killer to kill Jewish infants while they sleep with their parents. Golan will never, repeat never will be given back to anyone. Too much Jewish blood been split, and I know few of the IDF who lost their lives as young as 20 years. The world have to forget about Golan Israel Jewish Golan.
5. ship them back
real vision ,   usa   (04.17.12)
to syria so they can be with the killing regime. Nothing Israel has ever done to arabs has come close to what ass-ad has done recently to his own syria people. These people would rather associate with assad so kick them all out
6. Send them to Assad
(04.17.12)
if they support him? By the way, what kind of people DO support a dictator that just killed 10.000 people?
7. A: NOT ANYMORE! B: KICK THEM ALL BACK TO SYRIA!!!
EZRA THE PROUD JEW ,   USA-ISRAEL   (04.17.12)
These Druse should be respected for their undying loyatly: Israel has its own beautiful Druse. But the Golan is indeed, legally, Israel now: it was the consequence of war and invasion; irresponsibility and land theft (it was always part of historical Israel). We won it back and it will never, ever be given back. The Druse must be given a chance to vote: to remain Israeli or to want to be Syrian. The votes should be counted and those who want to be syrian should be sent back; those who want to be Israeli should have to pledge, in writing, allegiance to the State of Israel. PERIOD. This ongoing madness of protests and hate has gone on for too long: its time to nip this in the bud, make the tough choices without apology and let the world live with it. Peace. Chai Yisrael!!!!!!!!
8. Follow the money trail
Carl ,   USA   (04.17.12)
These Druse must be on Assad's payroll to spew his propaganda. The whole world knows of the war crimes being committed in Homs and elsewhere in Syria. Nobody living in freedom in Israel could possibly prefer the jackboots of a tyrant who oppresses and murders even his own people!
9. Identify them, pack their belongings, send them to syria now
Bunnie Meyer ,   Los Angeles, CA USA   (04.17.12)
10. Golan residents
Sam M ,   UK   (04.17.12)
Correction it now belongs to Israel and was annexed in 1981. If the Druse resident s aren't happy with this they can move to syria or be content with the fact that Israel is a democracy and actually tolerates protesters unlike in syria where protesting against anything can prove fatal!
11. Play It Again Sam
Bewildered Aussie   (04.17.12)
Are you aware of what has happened in Israel in the last couple of days? "Israel is a democracy and actually tolerates protesters unlike in syria where protesting against anything can prove fatal! " 1. Shalom EiSSner vs the Danish cyclist. 2. Israel vs the Flytilla Don't make the world laugh so hard at you and Israel.
12. Fence off Majdal Shams into Syria
PushThemIntoSyria ,   Jerusalem Israel   (04.17.12)
Put a fence around Majdal Shams and unilaterally return them to Syria in the meantime boycott all Druse restaurants shops in the Golan for their stab in the back to our soldiers.
13. No, afraid not
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (04.17.12)
The Golan Heights are now and forevermore a part of Israel. However, if the Druze living in the Golan wish to lend more than verbal support to the criminal regime of Assad, they are welcome to do so. They are also welcome to remain in Syria. Now let's see how many of them march gleefully across the border, knowing they can never return. Arab lip service and Arab commitment -- two very different things.
14. To: No. 12
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (04.17.12)
No, keep Majdal Shams. Ship out the disloyal Druze.
15. To 4. return the Golan to syria- Hear Hear
yasmin ,   uk   (04.17.12)
4. Jewish blood has been spilt! Give Palestine back to the Palestinians and Golan heights back to Syria and get out of Arab land. Its the Palestinian blood that has been spilt in galleons. Israel has no right to exist in palestine let alone take land from other countries- it is a political movement using religion for an excuse. And no the SYRIAN residents of the Golan (WHO ARE IN EVERY RIGHT TO BE THERE) will not be sent back to Syria as they are already there in Syrian land no matter what there political stance is (and don't start with the you're siding with a dictator I oppose Al-Assad). The Golan Heights are referred to as SYRIAN territory occupied by Israel. I bet I could find you thousands of Palestinian children killed by the 'Jews' in Palestine much much younger than 20.
16. #11 - both incidents you mentioned involved foreigners
William ,   Israel   (04.17.12)
foreigners are not afforded the same rights as citizens in a democratic country. Does Australia allow foreigners to enter the country in order to demonstrate against it? I haven't seen an example of that - perhaps you can enlighten us. Unlike Syria, Israel does allow peaceful protesting by citizens and I challenge you to find one injured or dead Israeli citizen who took part in a peaceful protest here.
17. There's a reason why they are so vocal now
William ,   Israel   (04.17.12)
It isn't because its Syria's independence day - that's just an excuse. It's because it looks more and more like Assad will be left in power and these guys need to ensure their loyalty in the eyes of Assad lest he claim they are Zionist spies and begin a Hamas-style cleansing of the opposition. You know that once calm is restored, and the Arab League and UN are satisfied (which doesn't take much in terms of Arab crimes), he will begin purging every rebel and opposition group just like Saddam Hussein did in the early 1990s.
18. The phrasiology "give back" offends me. The Gola is Jewishn
Moshr ,   Usa   (04.17.12)
Gamla is an old city, on the north side of the mountain. the italians kicked us out at the common era. It was never arob. It is Jewish.
19. #15 - Israel exists!
William ,   Israel   (04.17.12)
It's both a legal and a moral right! Jews came from that region, Jews have returned to it. Arabs only arrived in the 7th century when they ran across all nations (stealing land, imprisoning natives, and killing hundreds of thousands in cold blood). Palestine was never a country and it isn't today - as the ICC have reminded us all recently. We were given this land by Intl decry and only for our Jewishness were we targeted for extermination, even though who have lived on the land since biblical times. It is not our fault we continue to win the genocidal wars your ilk start, but I can assure it, this trend will only continue as Arab hubris and intransigence are as predictable as the rising sun, and their worst enemy. Truly - the fake Arab countries created unilaterally by the British (ironic that you write from the UK) are not legal nor moral. That includes Iraq, Jordan, Yemen, Saudi Arabia, the Gulf States, etc. The Golan was given to the French because they kept crying to the British about unfair division of spoils and they gave it to Syria. It wasn't Syrian until that point but it sure does have a lot of Jewish history there, especially pre-WWI when Jews worked with local Arab elders there to create the first electrical power station. and for your information, I can find you thousands of examples of "Palestinians" killing their own children, either as suicide bombers or by placing explosives labs in residential areas. Notice, the Israeli Arabs are not violent and depraved like the "Palestinians", not like most Arabs it seems. A win-win for all.
20. Most of world supports secularism in syria, not sectarianism
christian arab ,   las vegas   (04.18.12)
21. yasmin uk no 15
AL QUDS ALYAHUDI ,   QUDS ALYAHUDI   (04.17.12)
What crap you are talking about. Jews were in Israel thousands of years before Nabi Mohammed was born. I am not denying Arabs children were killed. They were killed because your coward fighters are within the civilians. Your coward fighters are hiding in mosques, hospitals, schools. The IDF will never kill a child intentionally like your coward fighters slitting infant while they were sleeping with their parents. What about your brave man Kantor Imah Ismo, when he smashed baby head. Do you call him HERO. The French and the British who gave Golan to the Syrian, but in reality it belong to Israel. In short your brave fighters cannot and will not be able to fight IDF on the battlefield. Read your quran and read what Nabi Mohammed wrote in the Quran
22. #11 bewildered
solomon ,   bklyn   (04.18.12)
Right now we are all laughing hard at YOU.
23. #8 carl (re: #2)
solomon ,   bklyn   (04.18.12)
They are trying to protect their families. Read #2 william.
24. #20 - and what will the world do about it?
William ,   Israel   (04.18.12)
Nothing. Sectarianism exists in every Arab country, bordering on Apartheid, and not a word is uttered from the world. I believe it was Assad who said the UN was irrelevant, and the Arab League report which stated Assad was largely innocent of brutally killing so many civilians.
25. Druze want to live in Syria
Andrei ,   Ramat Gan   (04.19.12)
Please let their dream come true! Avigdor Lieberman, fulfill their dream, pay them a fair compensation for their assets in Israel, and send them to Syria ! They want Assad, they should get him !!! It It is a basic right to be with your family in the country of your dreams, and we are responsible to help them live the life they dream of ! Show pity for once ! Fulfill the dreams of this people !
