Were any Israelis allowed to visit the Western Wall when the Jordanians occupied Eastern Jerusalem and the West Bank 1948-1967? Wasn't the area used as a garbage dump? Israel is extremely generous to allow these visits, but there is alas little if any gratitude or apology for their own past (or present) bad behavior from the other side.
