When I was a teenager in the UK lots of my friends went had sex with their girlfriends on the beach. If they had been caught in the act the police would have given them a smack on the risk and probably given them a lecture on safe sex, the closest it would come to the media is if they were witnessed by somebody and they wrote letter to the local newspaper moaning about it. In this case it was one woman with multiple partners but at the end of the day providing everybody consented then its still just sex on the beach which goes on all over the world and is perfectly harmless so why does it warrant such media coverage?

Firstly I dont believe you are who you sasy you are.Secondly,I lived in the UK for 65 years and this is news to me .Maybe privately in the dark,but no way in broasd daylight with all ages being able to watch including children.If you think that is OK you need your head examining!

Had the genders in this case been reversed, i.e. a 35-year-old man would strip naked on the beach and start to feel up some underage girls, seduce one of them and have consensual sex with her with everyone watching - he would have been crucified, no doubt about that. The police would rush to the scene and arrest him, he would be severely beaten up, his name and picture would promptly enough be all over the media, and everyone would call him a dangerous pedophile, a rapist, a perv, and wish him to be raped in prison. However when the exact same case happens with a woman filling this spot, doing these very same things with underage boys - she is considered a victim, and the underage boys are taken for questioning by the police. Makes perfect sense, doesn't it?

You may be the best lawyer in the entire world and your talkbacks are second to none, but on this issue I disagree with you vehemently. Boys are boys. They are not females. THEY perform not the woman. Making boys equal to women is a big mistake. Rape can occur ONLY when a male is willing to do his part - a woman cannot force it upon a male (last I heard). Holding females at equal footing as a male is where one says: Men and women are EQUAL! How is that logical? 1) Men/boys can be raped by women. Just because a male has an erection does not mean it is not rape. An erection is a physiological reaction and does not define whether or not a sexual act is rape or not. It is rape when the male does not or can not consent. 2) There are victims of sexual violence (female and male) that will say that they were not raped/abused even when they have been. This can occur in instances of someone who was victimized at an early age and goes on to see themselves as a sexual object and nothing else. It can occur when there is a cognitive or psychological disability. It can occur when someone engages in sexual activity (and can not give true consent) is under the influence of drugs or alcohol. 3) No woman wants to have sex with a group of men, one after another unless she has already been hurt so badly that she can not see herself any other way. Even if she says otherwise. The men who had sex with her, who watched and egged on the others committed acts of sexual violence, regardless of their age.

Adults that do it on the beach is, I agree, fairly commonplace. It doesn't make it any more pleasant to have to observe, particularly unwittingly. Public lewdness is about the most that two consenting adults can be charged with. On the other hand -- even in the sophisticated confines of Delray Beach -- if one of the sexual partners is a minor, the adult partner gets taken away in handcuffs, isn't that correct? Even if you say the boys were having fun. Sarah B is correct in saying it is considered statutory rape in Israel if the boys are aged 15.

Because minors cannot give consent, there is no such thing like consensual sex in statutory rape cases.

It is ALWAYS felonious assault when sexual congress with minors are involved. The legal term is "statutory rape." Why else do you think this woman scrambled for cover by insisting she wasn't raped? She's the one at fault here. The boys may be guilty of being boys -- their parents are guilty of considerably more -- but yes, no matter how drunk or impaired you are, sex with a minor is deemed to never be consensual. Much as it pains me to say this (on a certain level, anyway), the woman is the one guilty of felony rape. Someone should have told Mohammed; perhaps Aisha would not have been cruelly violated at the tender age of nine.
