1. Are they going to let to go to gaza or not?

If nothing is found on the ship, the spokesman's statement said, it will be allowed to continue its journey. But, the ship crew will be jailed for they evaded the elite Shayetet 13 soldiers who are good at intercepting unarmed ships.
3. Wait and see.
Matt ,   UK   (04.23.12)
They havent had time to plant the stuff yet, I'm sure they will "find" something sooner or later.

weapons caches are not exactly easy to "plant" aboard ships. there's no reason to think israel would resort to that or that they ever did it in the past. otherwise, this is largely a non-story. it's like they're publishing every statement they get from the military.

Thanks for the laugh! Your imagination runs faster than your brain. May be you should let the thoughts marinate in your head first before you post them on internet. Even the observer disagrees with you here. That should give you some clue of how much nonsense you are capable of. Maybe you should write a screen play about this. Hollywood may buy it. .. But thanks for the jokes!! Keep them coming!!
7. Gaza bound?
Mike ,   Toronto   (04.23.12)
I'm confused. How does a Gaza-bound ship carry on its journey when there is an embargo on Gaza?
8. Good for the Arabs also
sk ,   USA   (04.23.12)
Less weapons in the Arabs' hands are good for them too given their proclivities at warring between themselves (e.g. Arab Spring etc)
9. #3 lying racist moron
Gee ,   Zikron Yaakov   (04.23.12)
Typical of the thieving British mentality. The Royal Navy boards ships over 10,000 km from any of their illegal colonies and then we get anti-Semites posting on Israeli News sites.
10. piracy
desertson ,   london uk   (04.23.12)
A simple act of piracy on the high seas. If Iran had boarded a ship 200+ Km from its coast, the world would be in uproar. Let;s hope the captain, the line and the owner complain to the IMO,

How many tons of ammunition and weapons were found on other ships? How does one plant that much on a ship, especially when the cargo ships hold a lot more than the navy boats? Enjoy your wishful thinking, but reality is against you.

And if a large group of men came after you with knives, steel pipes, rods, etc, you would consider them unarmed? Of course you would...

"Lying racist moron?" Just because one bloke expresses a personal opinion which is obviously not accurate there is no need to spout venom at the whole of the UK and the Royal Navy. If there is racism in this discussion it seems that it is you who are guilty of it.
15. #7 embargo
israel israeli ,   tel aviv   (04.23.12)
There is no embargo. just Israel's reasonable request to search incoming cargo for weapons. The "embargo" is and always was a fantasy of the extreme Left (Israeli and European) as part of their efforts to arm Hamas.
16. #2 - do you need a list of arms ships Shayetet intercepted
William ,   Israel   (04.23.12)
and the Egyptian involvement in allowing such ships to enter E. Mediterranean with illegal arms for terrorist groups in Gaza?
17. #3 - oh deluded hater
William ,   Israel   (04.23.12)
Are you saying the IDF also "planted" 10 tons of arms found in a ship bound for Gaza last year? Or those numerous smuggling attempts stretching from Sudan to Gaza, crossing the Sinai? Or the pile of cash and equipment stashed on the Mavi Marmara, and the bragging IHH did in supplying those? Are you saying that the "Mossad" planted a govt official in Tehran who admitted they both arm and train terrorists in Gaza and S. Lebanon? Poor Matt. You're very good spreading propaganda in your own bubble, but those lousy Arabs always torpedo your efforts by not coordinating with you.
18. #10 - IMO - you should read the UN Palmer Report
William ,   Israel   (04.23.12)
Which, using the San Remo convention as a basis, stated the Gaza blockade as LEGAL and such interception operations by the IDF as "justified". If Iran had done the same thing, of course there would be an uproar. Because Iran is not under an act of war and there is no large-scale smuggling operation to put her civilians in a threatened state. Thus, such an action would be illegal under the San Remo convention. Dumbass.
