I am one of the millions of workers who support the needy Haredim through my taxes. They are needy because they do not work and "need" my money. They do not recognize me, for I am in sufficiently jewish for them, and like the goyim in the shtetl, I am only recognized as such for being a sucker for them.

Show me where halakha or Torah forbid hearing a woman singing. You can't because there is no place in either. What you're talking about is Custom (minhag), which is merely the result of a particular rabbi's interpretation of various psukim. On the contrary, there are concrete examples in the Torah of women singing before men as equals. It's only today's misogynistic rabbis who find a need to make themselves relevant with superfluous decrees and even decrees that contradict what is written in the Tanakh. The ones who should worry about God's reaction are those supposedly "learned" rabbis whoise only pleasure in life is to make the lives of their followers miserable. I wonder what God will have in store for them? Ritual followed blindly is no substitute for intelligent belief.

Here in London it was the custom for generations that at weddings the Rabbonim departed after the Grace after meals and before the mixed dancing. Today there is a lot less mixed dancing.
