1. Economic inequality can overtrump...
Gunnar ,   Gothenburg, Sweden   (04.24.12)
...national unity everywhere, and no one is immune. Not even Israel. The gap between rich and poor is growing in Israel and last summer's demonstrations in Tel Aviv are a warning sign that has to be taken seriously by the government. Allowing the country to be torn apart from within, THAT would be the worst dishonor to all Israel's fallen heroes. And yes, I am a socialist. I have been ever since my first visit to a kibbutz back in the 1970s
2. Mirth

4. A difficult wish to wish for
David ,   On this planet   (04.24.12)
A national unity when you and your defense minister throw out Jewish children with their family out of their home.
5. 48 hours of unity and mutual respect
avramele   (04.24.12)
For 2 days let us unite as one people;first to remember and honor our fallen then to celebrate our miracle of zionist renewal. Then we can return to serious debates that divide hopefully understanding that we are all small people standing on the shoulders of giants.
6. THE DEAD ARE DEAD AND WON'T COME BACK ! THAT WE KNOW !
TRUTHER ,   EU   (04.24.12)
7. It is funny he respects the fallen who went without kipot.
Michael ,   California, USA   (04.25.12)
Take it off and do justice to those who served Israel and gave their life. My estimate from visiting memorial sites in Israel is that over 95% of fallen fighters were secular, not wearing kipot. With your kipa on, Mr. Prime Minister, it is clear to me you are playing politics, but I do not doubt the sincerity of your words. Your attire is unfair, very unfair, Mr. Prime Minister.
8. #7 Your Foolish
Moshe ,   Jerusalem Israel   (04.25.12)
1. You lack respect. 2. Unfortunately many religious soldiers have died for their country not just fighting but by terror attacks.
9. Black Flags
Mark ,   Jerusalem   (04.25.12)
Unfortunately black flags are flying in Mea Sharim. We can never be united. Why do they live here?
10. "When they say that it's the BEST ones who fall"
mary of bethany ,   singapore   (04.25.12)
"When they say that it’s the best ones who fall" quoting what BiBi said which was missing here in Ynet but was quoted in Arutz Sheva. Quoting this as the title of my post, because nothing in my words can express it more beautiful, more heartbreaking, more sincere than these few words. Always, it's "THE BEST ONES" who fall, who fear not lesser than the rest, who are not really great eloquence heroes that can woo a crowd, but are always the one that quietly holding on when the so-call brave ones start doubting and regretting. To the fallen soldiers, "BECAUSE YOU WERE, ISRAEL IS"!
11. to the fallens: "Because YOU WERE, ISRAEL IS"
mary of bethany ,   singapore   (04.25.12)
12. What bothers me is how Bibi wears his kippa....
Who are we? ,   Israel   (04.25.12)
as if he is ashamed to be photographed wearing one. So small, intentionally placed on the back of his head, not on top.... as if to say "I am in charge. G-d is behind me". Rather troubling for the Prime Minister of Israel. Of course he would not be caught dead with one on except for such state occasions.
13. "Fallen soldiers"is wrong ! ! !
ORA ,   JERUSALEM   (04.25.12)
Risen soldiers [to th Olam Haba] is right.
14. 12 Bibi wears a kippa, be happy.
ORA ,   JERUSALEM   (04.25.12)
What bothers me,is you talking lashon hara.
