1. I guess one could publicize porn as fight for "morality",
tom ,   tel aviv   (04.24.12)
you know, just to show you how BAD it really is! (with proper annotations) Yeah.....sure.....
2. Smells like a business venture

Bavaria — which holds the rights until the end of 2015 — has not permitted reprints.
3. Wat boggles me....

Is why the Western world doesn't steer clear of this drivel. The Shoah did cost as much as six million perfectly innocent people their lives, after being abducted and dehumanized. This charade of a book directly inspired this murderous insanity, and Europe knows it. Since the academic value of this book is below zero, and it's potential to incite is so very big, I, myself, would dearly love to see the manuscripts destroyed and erased from human memory. Not everything that is being written should be preserved.......We Jews are not like to forget what happened, but at the very least this open insult to humanity should not be allowed to be publicized and being handed out and serve as an 'inspiration' to others.
4. Bayern to reprint Hitler's Mein Kampf
mimi jacques ,   oob.usa   (04.25.12)
Will it be ' Holocaust II for Dummies'?- way to incite, massmurder, annihiliate a whole people -Slave (labour)the Slavs (Untermensche).Germany has today so many nazies-old natzis/neonazis/green natzis- Pirate Party- Waffen-SS people. I thought EU has the Human Rights Laws- incitement to racial hatred/expulsion of minority population/religious freedom etc. If this goes forward- make sure that Preface of the book tells what happened and bring a lawsuit for compensation for Holocaust survivors/relatives of those perished/and any and all other remedies under the laws.
5. Absolute Evil should remain in Hell where it belongs
Jack Klaber ,   R. Hasharon, Israel   (04.25.12)
No common reasoning, nor intellectual (sic. ) property issues can make this decision palatable. The few copies floating around should be enough for historians to research it. No need to start a feeding frenzy of hungry piranhas or in other words, giving the Neo-nazis and anti-Semites food for thoughts and ligitimation on top of that.
6. Hard to understand
Johannes ,   Germany   (04.25.12)
But Germany has something called "Freedom of Speech" and "Freedom of Press". I know these concepts are hard to explain if you live in a flawed democracy like Israel but perhaps Wikipedia can help. There is no censorship in Germany. It is only possible to forbid the selling or showing of certain medias (pornography, violent movies etc.) to minors or to make any kind of advertisment or PR for it. But as an adult you a free to buy it whenever you want. The copyright of "Mein Kampf" ends 70 years after Hitler's suicide. After this date EVERYBODY can print his own edition like everybody can print his own edition of Goethe's "Faust" or Schiller's "Die Räuber". So the idea is to bring an official and commented version because it is quite clear that in the next years a lot of uncommented versions or even versions with right wing propaganda will appear.

Marcelo ,   Berlin / TLV   (04.25.12)
The basic question, mein Freund, is, why is it needed to publish such a bastard book written and published by bastards, be commented so that it would not be misunderstood ??? the german born ideology of NSPD is still alive with or without freedom of expression...otherwise, I would like to see book publishing fantasy ideology against germans...it is anyway, freedom of expression...Auf Wiedersehen !
8. It's all about making money.
Rich ,   Toronto, Canada   (04.25.12)
To understand how people are thinking, get your free copy on the internet. No sense in paying for a book that was not actually written by Hitler.
9. It IS already out for sale since years...
