It doesn't work that way. Never did and never will. Israel's policy towards Iran should be: immediate unconditional surrender or immediate unconditonal annihilation. Which of these two do the Iranians want? Israel should not ask. Israel should demand. We are a military power to reckoned with and other countries had better watch their step with us. This includes Iran.

The HUGE and glaring problem with your supposition is that, while Israel has a significant military capability, threats of this nature (unconditional surrender or unconditional annihilation) only promote the desire in your neighbors to acquire the same defensive deterrent capability you are now brandishing. You're essentially providing incentive to your neighbors to increase their military strength, and are establishing precedent that encourages military struggle against you. Further, the moment someone acquires parity, or what they perceive to be a military advantage, they will use it to the same, cajoling degree you now espouse. This is the type of military braggadocio that we diaspora folks cringe at.
