What is unique about the relationship between the USA and Israel is that the majority of Americans can be regarded as allies of the State of Israel but their leader Barak HUSSEIN Obama can't be trusted as an ally. Years ago the USA took a decision to move its embassy to Jerusalem. This has never been implemented.
