1. That's why Israel is known as the Zionist enterprise
Cynic #2   (05.03.12)
2. Legality
Aharon   (05.03.12)
Unfortunately the JNF is the owner of the land, which was admitted to by the village residents, and they therefore have the right to do as they please with the land. Unless some other legal agreement was signed between the 2 parties expressing what rights the residents were afforded and there's no escape clause, then these residents don't really have much of case.
3. Okay.
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (05.04.12)
I have given my last donation to the Jewish National Fund. Hope they can pick up the $2.5M annually from someone else.
4. 3. Have you heard of the Olive Tree Inititive?
(05.05.12)
5. Where are the Zionist values
Ilan   (05.10.12)
Both sides want to rake in the money by building apartments. It is a simple business dispute with one side resorting to "Zionist" rhetoric in order to gain sympathy.
6. Good Jewish settlers also from the left
David ,   Shiloh Israel   (05.10.12)
In pre Israel state days, before any green or red lines, it would have been almost unthinkable to demonize settlers for their right or left ideaological leaning. We all subscribed to the Zionist aim of settling the land. I hold out an olive branch to these besieged settlers in this socialist kibbutz. We should stand united in matters of Jewish rights of setllement, as well as finding common ground to seek peaceful accomodation with those Arabs willing and able to also do so. Then our political differences are narrowed down and we can once more focus on the real task ahead, to build up our Jewish State of Israel. I wish you much hatzlaha in your righteous struggle with the JNF. Shalom chaverim!
