1. Who's Obama trying to fool here?
Daniel ,   Belgium   (04.28.12)
Obama is a pure Devil... In his public speeches he expresses his unconditional support to the State of Israel, but his acts are showing a whole different picture of his real intends toward Jews. Just pay attention to the recent wave of antisemitism and communism that is raising in the US due to the Obama's policy. No Presedent of the United States of America has endangered USA like him before... Re-electing that man would mean giving him the freedom to expand and finish his final purpose, which I hope we will never know entirely. Vote for Romney!
2. Major concession?
Devorah   (04.28.12)
No. Major plan all along, knowing full-well that Iran does not keep its word. It's' also another attempt at a major stall for time while Iran allegedly gets itself on Obama's page. If Obama is this brazen now, how will he be after he gets re-elected, and he WILL get re-elected since George Soros' company, Scytl (a Spanish firm), will be counting the votes. Nice, huh?
3. The cowardly Obama compictulates once again!
Jack B. ,   USA   (04.28.12)
This boy makes me sick! God bless Israel!!!
4. THINGS FALLING IN CORRECT
MAHMOOD ,   LONDON-UK   (04.28.12)
Order. It is not the USA doing it willingly but has to accept it.Furthermore, drawing resentment from other sources has absolutely been negated by the fact that Iran will not bother caring for what the 'others' agree or disagree.Come round to it and accept ground realities.
5. Very sensible
Wulf ,   Ge   (04.28.12)
Why was this not done before. The world cannot be held to ransom any further by Isreal. The focus must now be firmly on the occupation and bringing Isrel to account for its serial violations of International demands. As for Romney I am sure Obama would like nothing better than for him to spend his time on this..
6. P5+1 will likely agree...
Robert ,   USA   (04.28.12)
to a deal that Israel will not agree to, but what then? Israel's "red line" is different than the "red line" of the nations negotiating a nuclear deal with Iran, so Israel will have to decide if they can live with their deal or not... if not, Israel will have to go it alone. If Israel does strike Iran and Iran strikes back against Western interests like US bases, Saudi oil installations, or shipping through the straits of Hormuz, Israel can expect the Western powers (US) to take action against Iran, and the United States will not let Israel stand alone, especially in an election year, but Israel will be forced to be the aggressor, and that will cause world opinion to shift against Israel. It's a tough situation for Israel and her leaders.
7. Netanyahu & Barak
Mingo K   (04.28.12)
Netanyahu & Barak should not fall for these time wasting tactics. Its absolutely clear the the West is collaborating with Iran in delaying tactics. Americans & Europeans are trying to save their economy, not in the least bothered about Israeli survival, just like during WWII. Dismantle Fordow, stop all enrichment & hand over the 20% stocks immediately. Else the bombs drop. Obama, Ashton & the European wussies can go and waltz alone somewhere or jump in the drain.
8. To: No. 4
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (04.28.12)
Here's the "ground realities," chico. You need to be far more afraid of Israel than you are of the United States. They can -- but probably wouldn't -- destroy Iran. Israel can -- and probably will. Iran will be stopped, Moslem-in-Chief in the United States notwithstanding. You need to come 'round to that. Iran is running out of time.
9. Iran will never agree, even with this, but continue to try..
Noodles ,   Coney Island   (04.28.12)
and buy time. Therefore, the attack plans are still on the table and the chips falling where they may.
10. Ayatollahist nuke
Brod ,   USA   (04.28.12)
It is NOT America. It is Obama and his anti-Israel forces that are allowing the Ayatollahists to obtain nuke. No matter how small, nuke in the hands of religious fanatics are deadly to the world. Congress should impeach Obama for endangering America, Israel and the region. Romney should fire Obama on this.
11. Back Stabing Liers !!!

14. Obama is far, far worse than the mullahs ,

15. #6 Good analysis
esnuffnstl ,   USA   (04.28.12)
Every (likely) outcome to this situation has Iran coming out ahead. Israel has boxed itself in a corner and is sure to come out the PR loser. Allowing Iran limited enrichment (with full oversight) seems to be a reasonable course. Of course those who believe Iran is pure evil will hate the plan, but rational people will see the benefit. The fact is Iran has (and will have) some sort of nuclear program. The best the international community can hope for is to limit this program and have some sort of oversight over it. This latest plan seems to do just that.
16. Rottenloser a question

You are not a happy hasbaratter are you?!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
17. IRAN RUNNING OUT OF TIME?.......#8
MAHMOOD ,   LONDON-UK   (04.28.12)
My foot!!You have made use of 'running out of time' several years back,so it does not make any difference to Iran.It is the talk-back coloumn readers whom you should explain when that 'time' will come. You sure will dissapoint them.Ha! Ha!
18. No such thing as effective "strict oversight"
Joe ,   Canada   (04.28.12)
With a regime like the Ayatollah's with a richly proven past of deceit & recourse to terror, a tangible concession like allowing enrichment in exchange for a paper promise backed by inspections limited to non military sites is an invitation to cheat. Iran did not hesitate to overcome the AIEA oversight of its nuclear program by funding the nuclear plant in Syria & to get technology from North Korea. Will more inspections prevent Iran from acquiring bomb grade uranium from a North Korea so eager for foreign currency? Or even buying ready made nuclear weapons & delivery systems?
19. Just enough to destroy Israel
DT ,   TA Israel   (04.28.12)
20. #15 thanks from #6 plus this...
Robert ,   USA   (04.28.12)
My biggest concern of all is that Israel will come out the loser in this, not militarily, but in world wide condemnation (as if she doesn't suffer that already). There is no doubt Israel will prevail in any military conflict in the Middle East, but at what cost? Still, if I were suggesting to Israel what to do, I would say abide by your "red lines," not those of others... and it seems likely Bibi/Barak will do that. Some suggest that a battle might be so decisive that it settles down the Middle East and the Arab Spring, but even if it does, resentments will fester and break out again at some point in the future. Stay strong Israel and act in your own self interests.
21. To: No. 17
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (04.28.12)
Yes. Running out of time. Israel gave Iraq TEN YEARS to lay off its nuclear program. Then, and only then, did Israel take care of business. Why on earth would you think that Iran won't suffer a different fate? Do you REALLY think that Israel is afraid of Iran? We own Iran's asses. Just ask their computer systems -- all of them and yes, that would include their military command and control. Why are you still in the U.K.? Shouldn't you be preaching your tripe from Teheran? If not, why not? I've asked you that quite a few times, and you have always managed to avoid answering? Why is that? Are you a supporter of Iran as long as you don't live there? What does that say about you? I live in Israel six months out of the year. If I am not there at the time a serious conflict breaks out, I'm on the first flight there. So? What's your pathetic excuse?

24. This is how it starts.
Rio ,   New York   (04.28.12)
Obama is the muslim in chief. I said it from the beginning. Israel is on its own. Dont rely on anybody. Israel will show the world how its done, in due time.
25. To: No. 15
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (04.28.12)
Iran is a country where only 30% of the homes have indoor plumbing. You're worried about Israel, a nuclear power? With an arsenal that would stun the United States. (Hey -- nuclear physics is a Jewish science. OF COURSE Israel has weapons of which the United States can only dream!) Too bad for you, Snuffy. Besides -- who the hell cares about PR? Surely not Am Israel -- we know what the world thinks about us and frankly, my dear, we don't give a damn.
26. # 21 Sarah B,why the Mahmoods continue
J.K. ,   Brooklyn USA   (04.28.12)
to live in London, because they are all sick with schizophrenia, most muslims would like to kill all the infidels, but at the same time all muslims would like to immigrate to the land of the infidel.

David ,   USA   (04.28.12)
You seem to have hit the proverbial nail solidly on its head! Congratulations! It sounds like something I would write, however, when I do, Y-Not will not release it. You should have added your name. That was a talkback to be proud of.
29. Sarah B... easier to agree with your points than ...
Robert ,   USA   (04.28.12)
your attitude. I appreciate much of what you say and most is valid, but many, if not most of us I suspect, would accept what you say better if you said it with a little less vitriol.
30. No. 29 It also would be nice...
Jenny ,   --   (04.28.12)
...if she wasn't a hater who takes pleasure in the deaths of Palestinian children. It kind of makes Jews look bad.
