And political murder, regardless of "good intentions", is even worse. It destroys the foundations of our society. We have the Fast of Gedaliah to remind us of that yearly.
Yigal Amir is murderous scum. His brother who helped him, Hagai, is no better. He shows no sign of repentance, and seems to believe that his assistance was "righteous". It wasn't.
And so long as he does not accept the wrongness of his acts, he should be shunned.

It's good that the settlers are ostracizing him & condemning his actions & comments. This will not be enough for Labor, Kadima & Meretz. Their blind rage at fellow Jews in the settler movement will continue their efforts to persecute them. Because one is a killer, now it makes all of them killers who are a threat to Israel's democracy according to them.
