1. So if you don't want to go to jail Don't
(05.05.12)
Break the Law, Mooshnooie arabs! If a prisoner Doesn't Want to eat and he Starves himself or herself and They Die I think the family should Dig The Hole!!! What country in the World would Ever Put up with arab Bullshit? I think if they try to break out these Criminals, they should Shot Immediatly. And if the arab/bedouins Try to Incite With whatever they Call Lawlessness (intafada) I think they should be Shot Immediately. Chales with Criminal arabs Already!
2. Use force-feeding machines on them!
Reuven   (05.05.12)
They're not pleasant for the feedees, but they work.
3. These guys are so dumb
Mara ,   Vienna   (05.05.12)
its hard to endure! Israel is already shaking in her boots in fear of the Hamas armies. They sent a letter to Turkey, what do they think Turkey (with hundreds of detained for years without charge!) will do now? Send her navy to Israel? And why do they think the World is not paying attention? The World is fed up with those lunatics that constantly issue the strong determination to destroy Israel! They faild 1st Intifada, they failed 2nd Intifada, they failed recent rocket attacks and now they will fail with their stupid strike! Losers!
4. This hipocrites have no shame
Yuval ,   Panama City, Panama   (05.05.12)
They kidnap Gilad and had him in confinment for years without anyright, what right do this scum deserve??!!
5. Hamas warned
daniela ,   panama   (05.05.12)
of consequences... as if with Hamas we do not live everyday with possible consequences.. whats new? They are more mad now than before??? they do not find a way of freeing another 1027 bums??? my suggestion to the israeli government: next time to not take prisoners.. it cost us money, its a security problem.. just shoot them in the field.
6. Hunger Strike- Threats from Hamas
Rhonda ,   Chicago, USA   (05.05.12)
Hamas...the platinum standard in morality and human rights. If they are that worried that these individuals might die, then I recommend to the Israeli officials that they put these individuals in soft restraints (the kind that are used in non psychiatric hospitals to prevent medical patients from pulling out tubes), insert a nasogastric tube down their esophagus into the stomach and force feed them the sort of nutrition that patients in the hospital receive. I just knew at some point in the article, Gilad's name would come up. What chutzpah. The guy gets off an airplane in Israel looking like he doesn't have a single red blood cell in his entire body but he's man enough to stand up straight and salute his commander-in-chief. During his entire captivity he doesn't have access to any third party who could evaluate his condition or communicate a message to his family, and they want to tell us about the treatment of prisoners? These prisoners have total control over whether they eat or drink. Typical Hamas and there will be people so uninformed as to buy it.
7. Gotta love the tough talk ...
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (05.05.12)
... and the hyperbole. I would purely love to see the "armies" that they are planning to mount. All the more reason to let the prisoners starve to death. Any action those idiots in Gaza take will be met with a swift and deadly Israeli response that will make Cast Lead look like a summer picnic. Since when does the Israeli Prison Service take its marching orders from terrorist thugs? Let them starve, and once they have, wrap their disgusting corpses in a pigskin and toss them over the fence into Gaza.
8. UNEXPECTED RESPONSE
Robert ,   Israel   (05.05.12)
If muslims start another intifada they KNOW they will receive an "EXPECTED RESPONSE" from Jews in Israel and abroad. - No more buying at muslim places, No more going to their eateries, nor to their bakeries, nor to their fruit stores, or to their shops and even perhaps not hiring muslim personel any more. Israeli arabs already know well about all these.
9. Arabs Talk, Talk, Talk
ACortez ,   Anaheim, CA, USA   (05.05.12)
...all they do is talk. Quit hiding behind your women and children if you want to fight and Israel will send you to allah as quickly as you can say allah akbhar. You people are crazy and foolish if you believe you will remove the Jews from their land after they were persecuted for thousands of years. God bless Israel!
10. they dont see a difference between
john ,   uk   (05.05.12)
shalit and those terrorist in jail? are they insane let them try to do something, israel will have a reason to kill more of this garbage
11. hunger
steve ,   chicsgo   (05.05.12)
what a way to go Hamas! Keep the attention off Assad and his mass murder of unarmed Syrians!
12. Typical
Malone ,   Hfx   (05.05.12)
These morons want to starve,so it's Israels fault?
13. Two faces, double standards
PaulZion ,   Israel   (05.05.12)
These people who are on hunger strike for improved conditions and their Hamas leaders who are threatening a third intifada if one of them dies, are the same people who held Gilad Shalit in a hole for five and a half years, without any visits from the Red Cross or family. They held him in a state of virtual sensory deprivation. He never saw daylight for 51/2 years! They have no right to demand anything. THEY set the new standards of holding one prisoner, let them live by them.
14. No wonder our good miss B. came home
Superior2U ,   YNet   (05.05.12)
Far be it for her to defend the Jewish State, but she probably couldn't hold an M-4 right what with the walker she uses.
15. More threats from a bunch of cowards
Gee ,   Zikron Yaakov   (05.05.12)
First off - NOBODY and I do mean NOBODY has ever survived 66 days without food. Not possible. Second - it is their choice. Just another method of suicide - we don't care. Third - Turkey can do nothing - they have already done their worst and we are still here. Fourth - Hamas armies? What a joke - have they come out of their holes yet from the last time they tried that? Pathetic
16. Nobody Cares
Bill Foonman ,   Jacksonville USA   (05.05.12)
The civilized world has long since given up on Hamas and their ilk so them so let them chant whatever infantile slogans they want. Israel will still be around when the Islamists have run out of people to kill and Gaza is still a cesspool.
17. Just try it Hamas, and get a bloodbath in Gaza
A NIce Fellow ,   Montreal   (05.05.12)
Be my guest, you lunatic terrorist warmongers.
18. A right to study and visits from Gaza?
JO   (05.05.12)
this is a right? never heard of it, higher education is a privlege, and the right to let in family from Gaza, not a right considering Hamas and Gaza are enemies of Israel. This is what it is all about, not human rights, but personal rights for those, especially those wanting to get their Phds and BAs. Boring
19. Hope he dies and we can give his meals
DT ,   TA Israel   (05.05.12)
to a more worthy person
20. hunger strike
spookey ,   birmingham uk   (05.05.12)
hamas, banging the war drums again soon be time to start thining them out again, the middle east going there wont be any arabs left to busy killing one another ,
21. The present security situation
Istvan ,   BUDAPEST HUNGARY   (05.05.12)
must be carefully analysed. An unquestionable fact that the number of arab terror attacks have been significantly declined in recent years. So I see not impossible to issue a partial general amnesty for arab prisoners. For smaller crimes of course. Murderers must remain in prison.
22. No problem Ready "armies" to replace the prisoners
David ,   Israel   (05.05.12)
23. A third intifada sounds fantastic
Jordan Ispalestine ,   Los Angeles, CA   (05.05.12)
Exposing the Palestinians for the murderous barbarians they are while simultaneously reducing the Palestinian population and halting any needless and dangerous land giveaways. A third intifada would be terrific.
24. Let them
John ,   Herzliya, Israel   (05.05.12)
Let them start with "unexpected response". It will give the IDF an excuse to finish with them once and forever.
25. Protest?
Dan ,   Florida - Tel Aviv   (05.05.12)
Look at the few people standing next to graffiti, in dirt and living like barbarians. Arabs are famous for turning gardens into desert and if the prisoners want to commit suicide, OK by me but send the bodies back to be buried in the trash, filth, graffiti and dust from whence they came.
26. MENĀ“$ LAW$=RULE BY MONEY AND VIOLENCE
me   (05.05.12)
27. Did Shalit have these rights?
Tom ,   Kansas   (05.05.12)
The conditions are too soft now. Treat them like Shalit.
28. Let it be
Beary White ,   Norway   (05.05.12)
This is just a game organized in between terrorists to become a martyr. One by one they will be, and the last one will be elected prime minister in PA.... I agree with Ban Ki-Moon, Shalit was tortured most of the time without ANY visit. These terrorists think they stay in a hotel...bread and water to come..
29. OK. Hamas threatens. Let's see Israel cower in fear now.
Harry Wright ,   UK   (05.05.12)
We do know how Israel's leaders panic when threatened. Peres will be the first in line to say "I am sorry, mea culpa".
30. Treatment of Shalit by Hamas
ltrail ,   United States   (05.05.12)
Some how I don't think that he was treated so well by hamas. There is a special place in hell for hamas members.
