1. HOPE SARKOZI WINS
AMERICAN HINDU ,   USA   (05.06.12)
Did not like the fact that he decided to bomb Ghadaffi's forces and help bring the Muslim Brotherhood into power in Libya. Still, I hope he wins!
2. Your zionist clown Sarkozy lost!
Tayfun_Turkey ,   Istanbul   (05.06.12)
Life will be ever more difficult as you lost and important clown in Europe

The biggest clown is Erdogan - his day will come when the military in Turkey has had enough of his Islamo crap. Your country used to have potential.
4. Israelis?
Gregg ,   Haifa IL   (05.07.12)
Israelis cannot vote in France. French citizens with Israeli citizenship can. What about simple French residing in Israel? Aren't they supposed to be the center of attention of this article?
5. #4 A point well made, Gregg. Something's not right here.
Ben Alofs ,   Bangor, UK   (05.07.12)
I am a Dutchman, living and working in the UK. I am allowed to vote in the elections for the Dutch parliament, but not the British parliament, because I am not allowed to have dual citizenship. I pay my taxes in the UK and I have a greater interest in British politics, because this affects me much more on a personal and family level. But although I am allowed with my Dutch passport to vote in local council elections and the elections for the European parliament I can only vote in national parliamentary elections in the UK if I give up my Dutch nationality/passport and become a British citizen. My roots are Dutch and I won't give up my Dutch passport. I am very surprised to read that "Israelis with dual passports" can vote both in France and Israel. There is something not right here. I know that some people have dual citizenships/two passports, because the rules on citizenship aren't always clear. Most states actually discourage dual citizenship, one of the reasons being that it can lead to accusations of dual loyalty. I know that quite a few Israelis have two passports, just in case things go 'pear shaped' in Israel and they can go back to the country they came from! Others do it out of pure opportunism (Sarah B. is an example). They play apologist for Israel, but don't have the guts to renounce their passport and become a proper Israeli citizen. The point that I want to make is that it appears that the beares of two passports have an unfair advantage by being able to vote in two national elections. To use a British saying: "That's not cricket!"

I realize how it frustrates you Israel-hating trolls to see that Israelis can vote in other countries' elections. But, who the hell are you two to judge French policy? France is NOT your country, and hence you have no say on this matter. And incidentally Gregg, speaking of loyalty - as evident from your many talkbacks here, yours is clearly not to this country. A fifth-column traitor like you should never have been allowed into here.
