Hardly ever see checks here anymore. True, they haven't dissappeared, but the use of checks has dramatically decreased from 20-30 years ago. At my Shufersal recently someone pulled out a check book and the poor kuapa'it had to ask her supervisor what to do. And when my building neighbours talked about how to pay the plumber, and someone suggested we use checks, most of the building didn't even have checkbooks anymore!
