You're correct. Therefore, let soldiers have a full slate of information from every stream of Judaism - including Reform and Masorti.

Our unit received next zero educational training, AND next to zero judaical training. Maybe reporters should talk to the soldier themselves - this article is the equivalent of asking the CEO of a Wal-Mart about a cashier.... to much disconnection .

In my experience, the Educational Corps does nothing. Direct commanders seem to handle matters like visits to museums or to centers with important debates about history and society, if at all. The Military Rabinnate, in this context, does almost next to nothing, at best offering the occasional 30-minute lecture before every third holiday. So this is all, pretty much, much ado over nothing.
