1. More morality from the religious
haim ,   TA   (05.10.12)
2. A criminal can not be too careful..
ORA ,   JERUSALEM   (05.10.12)
in the choice of his looks. Kipa wearers are getting more and more suspicious.
3. How can a religious guy be involved in prostitution?
Charles   (05.10.12)
There must be some mistake here. Someone who appears to keep the mitzvot would definitely not be involved in this sort of thing. Is this another attempt to delegitimize the religious? Or is there some Rabbinic loophole I don't know about? This is confusing.
4. Wasn't this the reason Isael was invented?
Edithann ,   USA   (05.10.12)
It was to be a safe haven and a 'hub' for criminal activity...and it has lived up to it's expectations in spades... TATA.
5. Why the kipa?
sk ,   USA   (05.10.12)
Why is he wearing a kipa unless he has sought genuine repentance from G_d?
6. Maybe that he wear a kippa only for the show ?
Charles ,   Petach tikva   (05.10.12)
And never did it before ?
7. monster
peterp ,   tel aviv israel   (05.10.12)
it must be a mistake a monster like that could not wear a scullcap. I mean he does believe or does he just want to sit in the same prisonwing as former president Katsav there he can then object to all restrictions given to a prisoner based on the fact that he is religious and the rule of law does not apply to him. Lets face it he only abused women and that is okay isnt it? Sick sick sick
8. 4Edithan, What other vision of Israel...
ORA ,   JERUSALEM   (05.10.12)
can we expect from a jaundiced eye?
9. Kippah wearing
Yoni the Jew ,   Jewish homeland   (05.10.12)
This guy is not and never has been religious. In Israeli courts many defendants wear a kipah to boost their moral appearance in front of the judge. In any case once you are caught it is much easier to subdue your yetzer hara which is why the rehabilitation program in jail that teaches Torah to inmates works so well. In the end we are all Jews and when we peel away the layers of dirt over our soul even the worst criminals can come back and do teshuva. Maybe even leftists you never know
10. #4. With the hatred you have
Tom W ,   USA   (05.10.12)
You could have been be a volunteer "Aufseherin" (female SS death camp guard).
11. #9 Yoni.... You're right..
Mark ,   Lodz, Poland   (05.10.12)
..This guy is far from religious. It's the same strategy chacha junkies from Netivot and Yeruham use when they go out thieving and/or to court. Anyway, the twist is ....that he got landed with Judge Khaled Kabub! ...no doubt immune to such theatrics.
12. To: No. 4
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (05.10.12)
The United States has more prisons than any country in the world. Those prisons are incredibly overcrowded. The United States also has more convicted criminals per capita than any country in the world. Does that make the U.S. a safe haven and a hub for criminal activity? You do realize, I trust, that the United States was responsible for the worst mass murders in history? Worse than Genghis Khan; worse than Attila the Hun. Do you have any idea how many native Americans were slaughtered? Fix your own house before you worry about Israel. But you are such a known commodity on these threads; it provides such comic relief to respond to your ridiculous notions. Sad thing is -- you believe them. That makes you repulsive AND dumber than dishwater.
13. To: Tom at No. 10
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (05.10.12)
Wouldn't that have been nice! She'd have been granted the privilege of meeting Albert Pierrepoint ... up close and personal.
14. can house's what's
arne ,   chicago usa   (05.10.12)
the big deal? you got them all over the world. noboby pulls the fella by the short hairs into the joint and the girls by and large are enjoying themselves and making a buck--beleive me they knew what the "work" entailed before they got there. men will be men, blame it on the Lord, he created us in his image
15. Not a very kosher gesheft
Arthur ,   SF, CA   (05.11.12)

john Darren ,   cairns-Austraalia   (05.11.12)
No, it's not.A religious guy will not be involved in prostitution.Of course those that say otherwise are not really religious.
17. #3 Confused Charles
Avi ,   Israel   (05.11.12)
Why do you find it strange Charles? What about the countless Rabbis involved in sex scandals and rape?
18. He's done so much damage
Ezra ,   sandiego   (06.06.12)
I remember somewhere that the Torah mentions DO NOT teach your daughters to act like prostitutes. Serious mitzvah violations for this guy. This evil he braces; it's left him empty as a stone.
19. Kippah is as Kippah Does
Shira Z ,   J'slm, Israel   (06.06.12)
Just because he is wearing a kippah in the pic doesn't mean that he is either religious or traditional. He may be, or it may simply be analogous to wearing a suit to court - trying to look respectful. Also, just because someone is "religious" doesn't mean that he is a good person - there is a certain percentage of every population - race, class, religion, ethnicity, however you want to break it down - that performs criminal activities, just as a certain percentage is mentally ill or a certain percentage will catch some dread disease (lo aleinu!). Also, to all of you bashers of non-haredim - 1) minhag is not halacha, halacha is not Torah, Avraham Aveinu did not wear a black hat and neither did Moshe Rabbeinu, and the sinat hinam (and accompanying self-satisfaction you seemingly feel at being "better" than the rest of us) is what destroyed the Temple and is keeping us from regaining it. Why do I care? Because it's my Torah too! Because you are driving Jews AWAY from Judaism!
