1. Honour these people they are the true Tzaddikim
Al   (05.11.12)
Cherish these survivors before they are gone. My late dad survived Auschwitz...he never lost his belief in a god. I miss him terribly. Dad I miss you...
2. Mazel Tov!
Joseph ,   London UK   (05.11.12)
Mazel Tov on publicly reaffirming your faith after the Holocaust. In my wife's Haredi family, some survivors became secular Israelis who raised their children secular. In older age they returned to being deeply frum, while their childen and grandchildren remained secular but sympathetic. The final victory is reaffirming your faith after Auschwitz.
3. 1 Al, You know what,,,
ORA ,   JERUSALEM   (05.11.12)
your heartbreaking outcry is a powerful message. Have a fine Shabat.
4. jewish faith and bravery continues on
debra ,   usa   (05.11.12)
all the all six million jews we lost are deeply missed. they were part of us-the jewish people. the shoah survrviors who had their bar mitzvahs at the western wall are treasured as the bravest people we can ever know.
5. Why did they wait more than 60 years ?
Charles ,   Petach Tikva   (05.11.12)
Maybe they became ill now , an ilness called "religion" . Or so called "ba'ale tschuva" ? I can only pity sick people .
6. #5 your post is that of a menuval...
aL   (05.11.12)
vile and afront to all those who we cherish, as well as those who did so much for the Jewish people after their liberation from the death camps. My own Dad didnt goto Canada after his liberation from Auschwitz, but went to Isreal to fight ib the war of liberation. Yes he was a religious Jew. Only in the 50's did he come to Canada. Today his grandkids, my sons are in Israel serving the country. They also happen to be religious.. I need not teach you menshlichkeit because you obviously failed that course. Now piss off.
7. 5 Charles,Be on high alert for..
ORA ,   JERUSALEM   (05.11.12)
the sudden outbreak in Petah Tikva ,of this illness. Shabat Shalom.
8. Responce to # 5
Sam ,   USA   (05.11.12)
Shame on you on number #5 You faith in G'D has never been tested, but, the Survivors have proven their fath in G'D. You don't even know the definition of a Jew. There is no hope for you.
9. Sam , i'm a survivor too
Charles ,   Petach Tikva   (05.12.12)
And , as a TRUE Jew , i'm living in my homeland . So don't try to give me any lessons .
10. Ora , Thanks for the warning
Charles ,   Petach Tikva   (05.12.12)
i'm vaccinated , and will fight this "illness" . Your kind of "illness" can be very contagious , the contrary of this from al [ who showed his "level" with insults ] You know what i mean . I wish you to "suffer" this "illness" for many more years . Have a fine week .
11. 10 Charles,i think that Al and sam...
ORA ,   JERUSALEM   (05.12.12)
misinterpreted your question, which is in my eyes a good question "Why did they wait 60 years?" Very simple. Like you, these strong, honest and smart men thought that they can manage very well without religion. But at their advanced age,the Hereafter is getting a near reality.Every Jew knows that decent people can enter the Gan Eden, only if they have done Teshuva during their life.If they do it just before expiring is good enough. The trouble is ,passing away can happen by surprise. To say Shema Ysrael each evening is a good insurance for fine Jews,to be able to join in Gan Eden the members of their families and friends, victims of the Shoa. Very well knowing, that, with this post,i take the big risk, that you might not want anymore to correspond with me,i forgo my interest ,and have your interest in mind. Because you have a very special soul, you deserve Gan Eden, at 120 . Shavuah Tov,Charles
12. Ora , wrong !
Charles ,   Petach Tikva   (05.13.12)
You don't risk anything , i'll continue to correspond with you , even if you want to "anredden mir a krenk" . I said , i'm vaccinated , so no risk for me . Those people , all fom Givatayim ! , are maybe living together in a home for elderly , and one of them said for fun : maybe we'll have bar mitzwa now ? Why not ? as es helft nischt , schatten ken es och nischt . You know , very old people not always have all their brains working very well , and they can be influenced very easily . You know what i think about a gan eden , but thanks for the wishes .
13. Ora , Wrong TRY # 2

14. 6 Al I would not react on this post..
ORA ,   JERUSALEM   (05.13.12)
if i was not so profoundly touched by your comment 1. Your anger,Al, is comprehensible. Not at Charles, but at you. Indeed. Aren t you tortured,Al, feeling deep inside you, that you deceive your cherished father Z"L ,by not following his religious way of life? He gave you a meaningful uplifting Hebrew name :AL. What do you think about, showing your father Z"L,how much you love him and honouring the name he gave you,by uplifting your spiritual life. Shavuah Tov ,Al.
15. 12 Charles , Ouf! Than i go on...
ORA ,   JERUSALEM   (05.13.12)
contradicting you. A Bar Mitzva at an advanced age has nothing intelectual. But visceral[ moving strongly the "kishkes"]. nothing related to a good functioning brain . Actually the brain, when well used doesn t weaken with the years, but gets better. You surely noticed that.
16. Ora
Charles ,   Petach Tikva   (05.13.12)
I met [ Marialei ! ] some Shoa survivors who were in very bad condition , not only physically , but , in their head . Moving strongly in the "kishkes ? I do not agree . Have a fine week .
17. 16 Charles, Old people who are
ORA ,   JERUSALEM   (05.13.12)
cherished by their family and kept home, example Bibi s father, can stay in perfect condition till a very advanced age. My mother in law passed away at 96 .Till than she checked her bankaccount and won at cards, playing with younger people than her. It is very sad, that elderly have to spend the end of their life in senior rest houses[where their condition deteriorates quickly].Sometimes there is no other choice. About Gan Eden...If you could receive 1000dollars by selling your place in Gan Eden, you would,no doubt, refuse the deal. Am i again monopolising the site?
18. Ora
Charles ,   Petach Tikva   (05.13.12)
Don't be hurt please , but 1000 US$ for something that does not exist for me , a great deal . In many cases , even a loving family , can't take care of an elderly . Of course there are people who remain 100 % healthy , but maybe not those who have suffered in the nazi camps . Yes , WE are monopolising the site . Enough for me
19. 18 Charles, A Last One: Abi Gezind.
ORA ,   JERUSALEM   (05.13.12)
Stay in good health, bis hinderd wie zvonzig [till 100 like2o]
