1. The “Arab revolution” in on the way...
Ariel ,   Netanya   (05.12.12)
Where is the law enforcement? Where is the law enforcement? Is it only to write some tickets? How a police chief can say "isolated incident" for the Netanya murder case. It is time to take some actions. More police forces on the street 24/24 and not just volunteers intervening immediately to the scene. 5 incidents in a week... And last thing, patrolling in a police car is not enough. It should be also some "walking" police forces. Like it is all around the world (again not volunteers without any power). When did you see last time walking police officers on the street? All these events are just the top of the iceberg that we can't even imagine. A parking lot without cameras? No way... And what about some much more unknown cases or the ones closed before prosecution because there is no "public interest". In a society where there is no law enforcement the "other part" will act. Or we will leave terrorized closed at home and the "bad will make the law on the street" or the "citizen" will act and it will be civil war/fight. The public tolerance has a limit. Bottom line the “Arab revolution” in on the way and the authorities are indifferent to what is happening in the country. It will be until the citizens will tell them to move out from their chair.
2. Musings...
Sherlock ,   US of A   (05.12.12)
Why was this Somali refugee invited to a private graduation party, why was the female student drunk and why did she decide to lay beside him?
3. Welcom to israel. I just gt here

4. Why?
A Jerusalemite ,   Jerusalem, Israel   (05.12.12)
Very sad to see this happening in Israel. There is more violence and more crime daily. On what can we blame this? IMO it is regretfully due to the example set by the government itself. When the government does not obey the law too many citizens and residents of the country feel themselves free to disobey the law as well.
5. So how is this related to the sudanese refugee??
John ,   Jerusem   (05.12.12)

Gil ,   Tel Aviv   (05.12.12)
You sound hysterical and ignorant. These aren't Arabs raping they are black refugees from South Sudan.
7. Apparently being raped by a Sudanese is the fear of every
Henry from New York ,   USA   (05.12.12)
teenaged Israelit. I'll tell mine to start making sure she's armed when possible.
8. Those illegal African immigrants brought violence
illegal immigrants   (05.12.12)
Bibi wake up!!!!!!!
9. #6 : Sure Gil,
Isac   (05.12.12)
as if Arabs would never rape a woman. Their excuse is always, that the woman should have dressed more modestly. So far to the objective that Arabs are soooo innocent. In regards to the Sudanese rapist, he wasn't an Arab but he is still a Muslim.
10. Dont call the Sudanese refugee!
(05.12.12)
They are not refugees, they are economical refugees, Israel wake up, throw them back to Egypt, I live in North TA, expensive neighbourhood, its full with Sudanese working cleaning street, working in building appartements etc, i can not let my 8 year old daughter play alone downstairs with her friends....ENOUGH ALREADY
11. Pff.
Jewish Patriot ,   Galut   (05.12.12)
Pff..if my own gf and me had been attacked, I rather would have fought till death... I was a JDL member, and I fought with neo Nazis more times...
12. We need “Rudy Giuliani”
Ariel ,   Netanya   (05.12.12)
They are telling us that we are the people that who survived the “Shoah” and that we have to be tolerant. My great father was in a nazi camp too… But I am living here now and my children can’t sleep during the night due to the “normal” activities on the street. And you know what; I stopped to call the police long years ago… I don’t need them 40 minutes later. We need them to maintain order which is missing. After, all these incidents, and unknown cases or the ones closed before prosecution because there is no "public interest", why the prime minister is not taking the necessary steps ? Including appointing a new police chief and ordering also the commanders to patrol (again not volunteers without any power). Then prosecute even the minors of 15-16… No mercy to whom that is not respecting the others and making fun of the law enforcement. We need “Rudy Giuliani”. Will he accept to make a little bit order in this country? Or is it too late?
13. ISRAEL'S MUST BE ABLE TO BEAR ARMS
Bad Assed Jew ,   United States   (05.12.12)
American's have a law allowing her citizen's to be armed. It helps to eliminate rape, robbery and violence in that, her citizen's may also be armed to be able to defend themselves. Think about it, if these victims were armed, they may now not be raped or, have this report showing WHY they should be armed. Amend your laws to allow citizens to protect themselves when the police can't or wont.

And Jews eat children
15. Way too much info missing from this story
israeli   (05.12.12)
So, the guy just stood there while the assailant raped his girl friend? I don't think so. Something is really fishy about this story.
16. Woman raped in parking lot...
Anna Davison ,   Ra'anana, Israel   (05.12.12)
Agree with #15. There is too much information missing and the whole story sounds fishy. I really wonder how the assailant managed to threaten the couple with a blunt object, force them to have sexual intercourse and then rape the woman. All this with by himself? With just a blunt object (not even a knife)? And what did the male victim do while the rapist was attacking the woman? Was he unconscious or what? Weird.
17. So Predictable
grod ,   USA   (05.12.12)
This is what always happens when inhabitants from the dark continent invade & take over Jewish neighborhoods. The Israeli government was told to get rid of them but they didn't want to upset the g o y s. Now you're stuck with them. Bunch of idiots. This type of thing never happens in Italian neighborhoods.
18. Being in a parking lot at 3AM is not wise. Satan
Rivkah   (05.12.12)
often attacks under the cover of darkness when there are few witnesses around. Sheep stay in pens at night. That is what those professing to be in HaShem's camp must do for their safety: stay in their homes at night. There are too many wolves on the prowl at night for sheep to be out then. When the sun goes down, the sheep need to go into their enclosures as a protection from wolves.
19. If the rapist was indeed Sudanese ...
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (05.12.12)
.... it might be worth investigating who is putting them up to it. They mingle rather well with the Arab community in Israel. I'd start there. See if money is changing hands. A little bit of voyeurism for titillation, then the actual act of rape. Lots more than one defendant here, I warrant.
20. #13 100% agree
(05.12.12)
People in the US bear arms and there's almost no violence on the streets. Especially Detroit and St.Louis are some of the safest places in the western world. All because good citizens are able to protect themselves.
21. Rape
Debbie ,   Israel   (05.12.12)
To Sherlock, The Sudanese man was not "invited to the party". He was a janitor or cleaner at the villa where the party took place. She went and laid beside him, because she was drunk out of her mind and had no idea what she was doing (smart, huh?) To #20 who said there's almost no crime on US streets. You have absolutely go to be kidding. The atrocities committed in the US are beyond human comprehension. Detroit and St. Louis are the safest citiies, Seriously?
22. Wise guy # 20
Eaglebeak ,   Left Coast, USA   (05.12.12)
The laws vary from state to state and city to city in America. Not everyone has the right to keep and bear arms. The 2nd ammendment which is the constitutional right to keep and bear arms is not upheld as the founding fathers intended. Generally the cities and areas with the most restrictions on guns (gun control) have the most crime. The anti gun crowd in their hate for guns refuse to acknowledge this and make up facts and figures as they go along to try to support their platform. We have outlawed drugs and made drugs a lucrative item. It will be the same with guns if we ever outlaw them. Your post wasn't very clever but what can you expect from someone who can't even come up with a name to post under?
23. 9 - Isac
Gil ,   Tel Aviv   (05.12.12)
Anyone who rapes is morally bankrupt be he Arab, Jew or Sudani. It got nothing to do with religion. Responding in a panicky, emotional way is weak and pointless - like your characterisation of Arabs.
24. South Africa is here..
Yair Sagiv ,   Kfar Saba   (05.12.12)
Rape and STDs are on the raise..here goes the "holy land". Maybe we should just give up and give them our girls. Maybe they will be nice.
25. #13 Bad Assed Jew
Daniel ,   Tel Aviv/ WDC   (05.12.12)
Was that a joke? Or were you serious? In the US the right to bear arms is the most abused right of all. The theft, rape, and murder rate in the US is the highest in the world. The right to bear arms has not lowered this crime statistic it has raised it. Your answer is even more of a joke in Israel or would you be okay with giving this right to the Russian mafia, Israeli Arabs, and Israeli Jews? The right has to be given universally.
26. guns for the people?
Jim044 ,   USA   (05.12.12)
Don't live in Israel yet, but from what I can understand from reading the news. There looks like a good case for the average citizen to be armed to help defend themselves and their country.
27. Daniel # 25
Eaglebeak ,   Left Coast, USA   (05.12.12)
You sound like a member of the "Brady" bunch. Your a good example of anti gun people who spout facts and figures from thin air to support their bias. Washington D.C. has a high crime rate because of their strict restrictions on guns. The problem in America isn't that the right to keep and bear arms is abused but that the laws we do have to keep guns out of the hands of criminals are not enforced. Criminals don't bother with laws and honest people end up at their mercy which of course is something that criminals don't have. Hitler had gun control....how did that work out? Israel should be able to work out a system for honest responsible people to own firearms and throw the book at anyone who abuses it or has a firearm when they are criminals. If they do that and enforce it there should not be much problem. Here in America we coddle our criminals and throw the book at honest people who are trying to protect themselves such as (Bernhard Goetz). They had to draw several Grand Juries before they could get one to indite him. How fair is that? Doing that you could indite anyone eventually for anything. On top of that the jury was instructed by the judge that they had to find Goetz guilty. A jury is not bound by the law and can do what they want but unfortunately most people don't know that. Judges can influence the outcome of trials so there is often little justice. The problem is our system, not the right to keep and bear arms.

an arterty like the carotid artery on the left side of the neck when attacked.
30. Just the beginning of wonderful relationship !!!
Abi ,   Tel Aviv   (05.12.12)
The recent refugy advance on the countries borders will take a big toll if israel does not wake up. There will be neighborhoods with high bloody crime rates, drugs, rape, murder and more crazy thing you can't think of. Wake up israel before it is too late.
