1. If TA will be hit by terrorsts perhaps then it'll be reportd
A.S.   (05.13.12)
"The IDF confirms mainstream media ignore significant terrorist attacks, nine of which were virtually unreported except by right-wing media. The cover-up is part of a general policy of local and foreign media to generate a positive image of the Palestinian Authority and a negative picture of Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu. The media agenda encourages international pressure on Israel to meet PA Chairman Mahmoud Abbas’ demand that Israel stop activities in favor of a Jewish presence in Judea and Samaria and parts of Jerusalem, particularly outside of large centers of Jewish population. “Very little of what actually goes on in Israel is reported by mainstream media. A lot of incidents are never published, though they’re very significant,” the IDF reported on its blog. The IDF did not mention any specific media outlet. It detailed nine terrorist attacks that remain unknown to most Israelis and foreigners who do not read right-wing media. When mainstream media report terrorist attacks, the perpetrators usually are described as “militants” or “Palestinian Authority citizens.”
2. Forget wasting money on a new pit.
jason white ,   afula, israel   (05.13.12)
Use the money to build neutron bombs. Then use them without warning to clean out the vipers in so. leb and gaza.
3. who could predict
israel israeli ,   tel aviv   (05.13.12)
Who could predict that the extreme Left under Ehud Barak giving Hezbollah control of Lebanon and under Kadima/Labor giving Hamas control of Gaza would mean that even the IDF's most protected base is threatened? Of course, the people who predicted this were the people the extreme Left condemned "enemies of the peace" and "fanatical Rightists", the same Rightists whose every prediction has proven correct. I imagine now the Leftists will admit their mistake.
4. @1
Israeli from Turkey   (05.13.12)
Yes probably the first ones would be reported but surely also immediately compared to some action that Israel did and therefore justified. In the next war the world press will condemn Israel anyway, so will the UN and other international bodies and governments, so that is why the IDF/IAF will have to take off its gloves and do the job till the end.
5. a'jad can hide nuke plants but Israel can't hide command?
rick ,   walnut creek   (05.13.12)
something's wrong. the iranian nut jobs can protect their nuclear facilities from attack but Israel cannot shield its command center? is that what you're saying? in that case, SOMETHING IS RADICALLY WRONG. I don't believe it. if the current plans do not offer sufficient protection, GET NEW PLANS. DON'T BE STUPID!
6. How many?
(05.13.12)
How many bodies will the pit hold?
7. WTH!? Who's the idiot engineer on this one!?
EZRA THE PROUD JEW ,   USA-ISRAEL   (05.13.12)
Unforgivable to spend millions of taxpayer dollars on a security bunker that can't take direct hits from a pathetic scud!!! Shame on these engineers! What an embarrassment!!!!
8. #7 PROTECSIA AND CORRUPTION
DA URBAN POET ,   SAFED OPERA HOUSE   (05.13.12)
Not necessarily the best engineers for the job .
9. #2 - No such thing as "neutron bomb"
Spyguy ,   Seattle USA   (05.13.12)
To create a massive number of neutrons requires a massive nuclear explosion (as the US and Russia discovered). The reality is ALL nuclear bombs function the same. They have either a fission or fusion reaction that creates a massive hypersonic shock wave, millions of tons of superheated air, millions of tons of radioactive debris and lots of nasty by-products. When you set off a nuclear weapons you are going to destroy lots of things and kill lots of people and if you set enough off, create nuclear winter that will kill most of the people in the northern hemisphere. There is no such thing as "limited nuclear war," just lots of death.
10. to #9 I guess that is why the inventor.
