1. 1st Likud changed the law so Mofaz can split with only 7
Eric ,   Tel Aviv & NY   (05.14.12)
1st Likud changed the law so Mofaz can split with only 7 now it wants to change it so 1/3 need to approve? This is getting much too specific to hold up to judicial review.
2. they have got to used to Livni politics
zionist forever   (05.14.12)
Livni thought it was better to stay in opposition never saying or doing anything so that when the next election comes around she can criticize Bibi but she can keep her whiter than white image because she has never done anything worthy of criticism. Mofaz knows that being part of the coalition gives the party influence in the running of the country and it increases their chances at the next election because you can say look I achieved something. If the party splits now then come election day Kadima will face meltdown, they new party won't do much better and the winners will be Labor & Lapid. Time to change the electoral system to one where we have 3-4 mainstream parties, all MK'S are directly ellected and the party that wins the most seats runs the country alone for a fixed term. We will get stable & responsible government and it will save the taxpayers a fortune because we won't be shelling out hundreds of millions of Shekels on an early election when the coalition partners have an argument.
3. Split
michael Pielet ,   Israel   (05.14.12)
Let them split. They need 7 MKs to split do they have the seven? In reality, who cares! This article is a big to do about absolutely nothing.
4. If the general public is not prudent enough, it may miss
tom ,   tel aviv   (05.14.12)
our Lunatic-Left's (that means ALL left -affiliated parties) trick of getting us back onto the "Peace-Path" to oblivion under the guise of "Social-Justice" humbug. While we're preoccupied with the criminal Kadima the real goal of the dying (hopefully) Left is being swept under the rug.... Who cares about Lapid & Mofaz &Co ?!!! Just a thought.
5. Kadima
Amos T   (05.14.12)
The poor situation in which Kadima finds itself today is the result of more than three years of mismanagement under Tzipi Livni. She should get lost & keep her mouth shut.
6. Perhaps the P.A. would like to hire LIvni! We can wish it.
Chaim ,   Israel   (05.14.12)
Livni's political career has been nothing but a long series of foolish disasters. However, we can thank her for one thing: The fall of Kadima. Israel has never known a more corrupt and worthless party. By working for Kadima, Livni took it down. Perhaps the P.A. would like to hire Livni!! We can always wish.
