Those Syrian rebels could end up fighting each other for power or joining terror groups like Hezbollah using those probably American & European weapons if they are coming from the Gulf states against Israel. No matter where they weapons come from they will probably be pointed at Israel once Assad is gone.

Since when were Arab League regimes interested in promoting liberal democratic government in AL countries?Judging by their backers,there's every reason to believe that the Syrian rebels will set up a regime as bad as the Baath/Assad regime it seeks to replace.
