31. Did anyone examine the vehicle ?
Stuart   (05.18.12)
what were they hiding or transporting to provoke such an attack ?
32. PA Muslims were OBEYING the Koran
Linda Rivera ,   New York, USA   (05.18.12)
In the Koran, jihad, is an obligation on every Muslim. There are many no-go Muslims areas in Europe and the UK where it is too dangerous for non-Muslims to enter. In some Muslim areas of Europe, Muslim hate for non-Muslims is so fierce that ambulances require a police escort.
33. A Muslim Woman was Helped & Healed in an Israeli Hospital
Linda Rivera ,   New York, USA   (05.18.12)
Returning evil for good, the Muslim woman returned with a bomb belt to blow up amongst the kind Jewish doctors and nurses who helped her. She was caught before she blew up.
34. #21 paramedic - thank you...
solomon ,   bklyn   (05.18.12)
for providing another side to the story, and letting us know that this instance is in the minority. It’s good to hear of cooperation among those sworn to save lives.
35. #31 stuart
solomon ,   bklyn   (05.18.12)
This was an Israeli ambulance (from Magen David Adom), not an arab one (from the Red Crescent).
36. We are turning into europe
Yerushalmi ,   Jerusalem   (05.18.12)
With all the non-muslim no go areas where they lynch emergency crews. If we don't put the stop to it, Jerusalem will turn into another Malmo.
37. End illegal arab occupation of Jewish land!!!!!
efy   (05.18.12)
38. the ambulance should have said go get a taxi to hospital
zionist forever   (05.18.12)
Make it clear that ambulance crews will be ordered to leave the scene of an accident without giving treatment if they are physically attacked. Make it a rule for the ambulance crew if they are attacked in anyway to report it and drive off and if its in an arab controlled area then Red Crescent will be called and it can be their problem rather than MDA. perhaps give ambulance crews a gun to defend themselves and to threaten people to leave the scene.
39. Unless we impliment #27's solution
Israeli 2   (05.18.12)
our problems will continue.
40. if we would not send an ambulance
(05.18.12)
they would cry foul in the international media how about the poor pallies didn't get any medical treatment, no ambulances etc, all because they are such poor pallies. Take their Israeli ID at once!
41. Remember the ten children killed?
mea   (05.18.12)
The media was filled with accusations that MD did not arrive in time. Let this be a message to Arab leaders to work out a solution. Until then, they cannot complain if there is reluctance to come quickly. It is only logical. I salute this medic for having such smarts and such dedication.

Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (05.18.12)
"I HAVE been to ambulance calls where neighbours in Arab areas have been threatening or even violent towards us. On each of those occasions an Arab-Muslim member/colleague of my own MDA ambulance team berated those who behaved such." What if only Jews were present? What would the outcome have been then? On any of those occasions, have any local Moslems made any effort to intercede or to quiet the locals who were threatening you?
43. To: Solomon at No. 34
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (05.18.12)
Don't you find it passing strange, though, that those who arrive in order to save lives should be turned away and set upon by hostile crowds? Is life that cheap to the ersatz "Palestinians?" I'll never understand. I was raised that the highest thing a person can aspire to is the saving of a life. Evidently, the ersatz "Palestinians" believe that the highest thing a person can aspire to is the taking of a life. That would certainly explain the whole suicide bomber thing.
44. In any other country ambulance workers would
Harry Wright ,   UK   (05.18.12)
refuse to enter areas that may be threatening to their safety. Endangering yourself is above and beyond the call of duty. This requires serious industrial action. Ambulance workers must demand police escort or nothing doing. That should solve the problem. If Balestinians die while waiting for the police escorts, it is their fault.
45. #35 I was talking about the crashed car
Stuart   (05.18.12)
Most palestinian would and do welcome the assistance Magen David so was the attack a diversion or just plain mob stupidity and brain washing ?
46. #43 sarah re#21
solomon ,   bklyn   (05.18.12)
I understand what you are saying. My understanding of #21, with his emphasis on HAVE, seems to say this is not the usual occurrence. He also says that "the Red Crescent ambulances and medics...do not always appear very well trained, but have always been courteous and eager to help." Which means there is some hope...somewhere.
47. They are a vile, accursed people...
Hoekom Jy My Haat ,   Washington, DC USA   (05.18.12)
Not just them, but all their co-religionists. Try to help, and all you get is a big kick in the kishkas.
48. #4 you make me laugh
a   (05.18.12)
Is it Ok to fire high velocity teargas shells at people's heads and chests? Throwing stones at heavily armoured soldiers? When was the last time an IDF person was KILLED by a stone? Go on? I can name when peaceful UNARMED protesters were killed by IDF Teargas cannisters, "rubber bullits, and real bullits. Do you want me to name names now occupier?
49. To: Stuart at No. 45
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (05.18.12)
Why would it matter what prompted the attack, or the reasoning behind the attack? This was an MDA ambulance. In Gaza, and in the ersatz "Palestine" Authority, ambulances are frequently used to transport weapons, but such is not the case with Israeli ambulances. No one in their right mind would interfere with an ambulance or EMTs going about assisting other people, but different rules apply to the ersatz "Palestinians." If they cannot behave themselves, perhaps the best solution would be for Red Crescent to handle all ambulance calls which would require entering Arab neighborhoods. The safety of Israeli ambulance personnel is paramount, and if the odd ersatz "Palestinian" or two or ten or one hundred die waiting for a Red Crescent ambulance or poorly-trained EMT personnel -- well, they'll have only themselves to blame, isn't that right?

52. To: No. 48
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (05.19.12)
It is illegal to instigate violent provocations against IDF troops, though. It is certainly illegal to hurl boulders at passenger cars. It is equally illegal to slit the throats of a sleeping family of five, or stab an IDF soldier on the Jerusalem LightRail, or stab an innocent civilian waiting for a bus, or detonate suicide bomber vests in crowded restaurants, hotels and buses. I would dearly love for you to name ONE SINGLE INSTANCE where a peaceful demonstration was dispersed using tear gas or rubber bullets. Good luck with that one -- the ersatz "Palestinians" seem to be genetically compromised when it comes to the art of peaceful demonstrations. So yes -- please name names now, vanquished violent coward. Go right ahead. I will counter with thousands of examples where ersatz "Palestinians" have committed acts of terror and violence that shock the conscience. By the way -- why restrict yourself to an instance where an IDF soldier was killed by a hurled stone? Isn't it enough that innocent Israelis have been killed in precisely that manner? And you should spend some time counting your blessings that the IDF does not use live rounds in order to disperse violent rioting ersatz "Palestinians." What do you think would happen in other countries? Go ahead, ya'habibi. Name some names. I'm waiting. And YOU violent lot are the illegal occupiers in Medinat Israel. Do keep that in mind.
53. Thanks Paramedic #21
Joseph ,   Singapore   (05.19.12)
I hope everyone will remember the goodness of heart of this fine person and not the hate postings of some individuals.
54. Unfortunately, the only conclusion of

all this is that Arabs in these parts of Israel do not need Jewish help.
55. To Sarah B Thank you SoMuch for All Your Excellent Comments!
Linda Rivera ,   New York, USA   (05.19.12)
Always accurate. Always caring. Always protective!
56. arab youth
Haim Ahmed Emmet ,   Netherlands   (05.19.12)
the same happened here in Holland by Maroccan youth attacking ambulance personel treating muslims who were hurt in an accident. Police reacted hard and it does not happen any more.
57. #48 - Yes, name names...be sure one of them is ISM
William ,   Israel   (05.20.12)
First, it has never been proven that the IDF aims teargas AT people. In videos, even by "Palestinians", you can clearly see a bounce into the crowd. Where it goes after that is Allah's problem. And anyone who has shot a tear gas shell knows there is no ability to target anyone specifically, just a general area. Second, there are no peaceful protests so even if one protester was not involved in violence, they were part of the collective that was, which justifies IDF action. Question is - what was this "peaceful protester" doing in a closed military zone instigated an armed forced? Give him a posthumous Darwin award. Finally, stones are very dangerous. I cannot think of any IDF soldiers killed by one but many were hurt pretty badly. I can name one (of many) innocents hurt by Arab stones - a 5-yr-old "Palestinian" girl who was paralyzed after kids attacked her car for no reason except racism. and that is what your "peaceful protester" was supporting. Sick.
58. My experience
MDA Paramedic ,   Israel   (05.20.12)
All I can say is that there have been times when I have been called to an emergency scene in a predominantly Arab neighborhood, and some people in the area behaved violently towards us. It has been overwhelmingly area teens and youth. The vast, VAST majority of my encounters in these neighborhoods have been positive with the patients and their families professing appreciation and behaving courteously. I am a religious Jew and will continue to afford the best care I can to all in need believing that all people are created in G-d's image. I am not naieve however and I will continue to take measures to ensure my safety and that if my crew. Including being armed at all times and having police escort.
59. #58 kol ha kavod
solomon ,   bklyn   (05.20.12)
May you continue to confront reality, helping those who need help while watching out for your crew.
60. #48 a re: #57
solomon ,   bklyn   (05.20.12)
Read #57 again. He speaks of facts. Unlike your post, which is fantasy. (including your use of the word "occupier". The arabs came with the Moslem conquest, more in the early 1900's, more to replace those Jews kicked out in 1948. The Jews came a few thousand years ago. Who is the occupier? Hint; it ain't the Jews.) Read some history, then post.
