Harry Wright ,   UK   (05.18.12)
going to negotiate with the tyrants in Iran and give them every thing they demand, including time to complete their nuclear weapons project....so they can terrorize the entire ME and beyond. Obama is just pretending that he is doing something with the impending talks. He already knows he will give them free passage as he does some useless sabre-rattling in the process. Meanwhile, Arab states just have to come up with their own options, including forming their own federation - which is no damn business of Iran.

7. saudi arabia wants to see fiasal of meccas dream come true
zionist forever   (05.18.12)
In exchange for arab help during WW1 the British promised Faisal that if they help them topple the Turks then the entire region and then as a result of the Sykes Picot Agreement that didn't happen. Instead eventually they got 22 arab states, Iran and Israel which is a situation the Saudi's have never been happy about. Now the Saudi's are going to try and expand their empire by forming unions with other Gulf states which will probably eventually become an a single arab superstate. Once they got the Gulf they will start moving in on the post arab spring countries Syria & Egypt have tried forming a single country in the past and failed but with the Muslims running things now in Egypt, Jordan & Syria will eventually fall and the Islamists will take charge as will Syria. In countries who no longer have strongmen like Assad to rule through fear and are not rich are easy pickings for a Saudi superstate. Already Saudi Arabia has the biggest and most modern air force and navy in the Middle East and the other Gulf states are all armed with American and European weapons. If Syria, Egypt or Jordan can be talked into becoming part of this superstate it allows a huge arab superpower right up to Israel's border. The IDF needs to start buying more weapons like long range fighter bombers and invest heavily in the navy who can take the fight to the enemy.

but they are the first in line for money or protection. It does NOT surprise me at all, he said he would bless those who bless you and curse those who curse you. Take a number, get in line . . . . Next?
10. Gulf Union, Jordan & Israel
Mike ,   Haifa   (05.21.12)
Although the creation of the Gulf Union would be a necessary counter-balance against Iran and which might help in the military strike against its nuclear facilities, we Jews muat also think about its long-term effects for the jewish state. The Gulf Union success in funding Libyan and now Syrian rebels might make them an efficient and productive force that the EU and US might think they can rely on and count on to maintain stability in the region. This will raise their profile and prestige and very soon they will demand the same interference in Israel. This Gulf Union is especially dangerous since they have incorporated Jordan into their rank even thiugh its not a Gukf country. This will hinder the realization of the "Jordan Is Palestine" solution which is gaining popularity in Israel and the US and to a lesser extent in the EU. That is why Jordan's king abdullah has joined the Gulf Union, to block Jordan Is Palestine.
