1. So, what's the problem?

Fire back. With bigger and better ammunition. Anyone ever stop to wonder what would be the outcome if Mexican irregulars were to open fire against, say, United States troops that patrol the border? I'll tell you the outcome. Ciudad Juarez and Ciudad Tijuana would almost instantly be turned into a pile of rubble, that's what would happen.

Sarah I am surprised at you. First Obama on his hands and knees would beg forgiveness from Mexico. Next he would give Mexico $500 Billion in compensation using his China Credit Card. Then to show his repentance he would invite 1,000 Palestinian terrorists to study at US Universities tuition and room & board free paid by the US taxpayers. Next he would introduce a Security Resolution criticizing Israel for something...it really does not matter what. He will go immediately to AIPAC , show his teeth and say "I've got your back".

If Israel can fire into Gaza with impunity, with wanton disregard for life and limb of the Palestinians, why shouldn't the Palestinians not exercise their legitimate rights, approved under the Geneva Convention.

first of all, Tijuana and Juarez are already piles of rubble, due to the narco terrorism that's really getting ugly! You may laugh Sarah, and the rest, from your perspective places of residence, but the situation here in California may one day evolve where some foolish, power hungry, middle east backed group, might try something like shelling San Ysedro, or one of the closer American communities that border Mexico. We obviously cant lob shells back onto the civilian population, even tho the navy seal Training base is there, The US Navy fleet lives there, and the Marine bases dot the area. It would be the same problem Israel has today. We'd have to go in there and flush out the scum, and make sure they know how much it's gonna hurt next time we go in. The difference here in the U.S. is, that the 2nd time we go there, We'd smash it to pieces and there will be hell to be paid by the terrorists. Terrorists hate that! If they open fire on your troops, what's gonna stop you from 'hot pursuit' and the following deaths of said terrorists? Huh? Shalom Israel Rob

Do you mean to suggest that people who blow up innocent civilians on a bus or in a cafe or a restaurant or a hotel are "freedom fighters?" How about people that massacre a sleeping family of five? Are they "freedom fighters," too? What about those who fire a mortar shell at a yellow school bus? Would they qualify as "freedom fighters?" Do you also consider those who line up two dozen schoolchildren and machine gun them in their backs, killing them all, to be "freedom fighters?" And those who fire missile barrages at civilian populations in Israel, are they "freedom fighters," too? If those are your idea of "freedom fighters," you, sir, are no man. You're not even a mouse. You are a mentally challenged knuckle dragging psychotic. But we knew that already. You don't have to keep on proving your depravity. And we already know that you despise Jews and the State of Israel. What we don't really understand is why you keep coming back here to be taunted, ridiculed and humiliated? I guess that's the knuckle-dragging part coming into play .....

Gaza is not a sovereign state. It has no claim under the Geneva Convention, you fool, unless the Gazans wish to charge their so-called "leadership" -- Hamas -- with crimes against humanity. They have no recourse against Israel, because Israel has withdrawn from Gaza, and only acts in self-defense and in response to considerable provocation from Gaza -- missile and mortar fire come to mind -- and with the full power of the Geneva Convention to act with all means necessary to protect and defend the citizens of Israel. Have you ever read any of the Hague or Geneva Conventions and Protocols? It might be beneficial for you to start .... just as soon as you have completed Dr. Seuss, that is.

Actually, I think that the United States military is far less shy than you make them out to be. They had no problem napalming civilians in Vietnam, incinerating civilians in Kosovo or killing over a million civilians in Iraq, Afghanistan, Waziristan and Yemen. I think that the United States would do what it had to do. The drug cartels and gun smugglers are gaining too much power, and Mexico is powerless to put an end to the carnage. But history tells that the U.S.has never been overly concerned with collateral damage. By the way, you're a little far to the west and way too far to the south. Any threat from Middle Eastern terrorist group is far more likely to come from across the border with Canada -- some place like Windsor, Ontario, or Toronto -- very close to large Arab communities in the United States where sleeper terrorist cells have already been unearthed. Some place where the terrorists have lots and lots of friends.

Shalom Sarah. I am a former Marine. I usually have a tendency to under dramatize the effect our military plays in urban, non warfare areas under civilian control. I can assure you that in combat, or service to the country, my brother Marines will be the ones that are going to do our best to kill the enemy, wherever he is, under almost any circumstances. Legally. The point I am making, is that, even as Marines, we cant just barge into a civilian area and blast away. The allusion to napalming civilians in Nam, that was a war crime, and it always will be. As for the untold civilian deaths you allude to, in yet another sign of callous disrespect for the country in which you reside, well, war is hell. The important point here Miss B. is that you dont just shell civilians en masse. You would think that as a barrister with a big mouth, you would espouse legality or at least decency, As usual, you have failed miserably at both. I wont even mention mercy. The fact is, that the US abhors civilian death in any of it's forms. You are a fool to believe otherwise, and your visceral hatred for the U.S. once again rears it's ugly head. Don't let the door hit you in your brain housing group on the way out. Shalom Israel, Rob
