In Islam, the oral law, traditions (Hadith) are narrated by Messenger Mohammad himself and those sayings and deeds of Mohammad were recorded using the most sophisticated technique. One had traveled thousands mile just to verify one word from trusted source(s). Hadith contains details of prayers, rules, advices, and mandates that may not be detailed in full in quraan. Hadith mentioned Beit al-Maqdis and Al-Aqsa so many. Mohammad went to Levant in commercial caravans and had been in Al-Aqsa Mosque at least once. When the pagans of Makka tried to prove that he did not make it in the Night journey, they asked him to describe Al-Aqsa Mosque; The Mosque was already there, NOT 200 or 300 years later. Mohammad described the full and and fine details of the Mosque. Quraan 17:1 "... the Aqsa Masjid (in Jerusalem) the precincts of which We have blessed,...". if the districts around Masjid Al-Aqsa were not Jerusalem, so why Jews are calling those Jerusalem

the Al Aqsa mosque was not built when your prophet died, this is history! The mosque wasn't built yet. he died in 632. 50 years later was built the Dome of the rock ( 687 - 691 ) and then Abd al Malik distroyed a church to built al aqsa (709-715). this is what I read. Moslims want to conquer the whole world but they can't change history!
5. #4 are you Jew
(05.21.12)
Jews in Medina at the time of Mohamed criticized him for changing the direction of his prayer from facing (qiblah) Beit Al-Maqdis where the Masjid al-Aqsa to Mecca where Kaabah (al-Masjid al-Haram) was. Qiblah (direction of prayers) was Never to except to a Masjid (Mosque). They had never contended the many so narrations of Mohammad, Muslims and Pagans about Masjid al-Aqsa. Jews never contended the many stories about Masjid al-Aqsa although this would have been a golden opportunity to destroy the new born religion. If the bible were a logbook for recording real estate property, could the bible have missed the house of G-d, the holiest of the holey and could not have told the EXACT location and exact name that would be famous by it in the whole world. Where is the exact location of the First and even the Second Temple?

First of all let me tell you that your quran was written by Jewish Rabbi under threat of prophet mohammed. How did receive the quran from which mountain or water well. Prophet Mohammed never set foot to Jerusalem. Jerusalem not mentioned in the quran not even ONCE. Oh yes, Mohammed flew to Heaven from Jerusalem by special rocket VIA MECCA & MEDINA. Mohammed was uneducated, ILLITERATE,and wild man, but he was warririor and he use his sword ruthlessly. Islam have nothing to do with Jerusalem or Judea and Samaria. Your holy places is in Mecca & Medina which is called Arabia.
7. Excuse to come to Jerusalem it's bars?
TimeForNewMayor ,   Jerusalem Israel   (05.21.12)
If anyone doubted that the mayor Barakat a former Tel Avivian wants to make Jerusalem a mirror image of it just read this report. Time to say goodbye to this mayor and restore Jerusalem to it's very special status that does not include it being remade into the horror that is Tel Aviv
8. Jerusalem
SD Charger ,   San Diego   (05.22.12)
I thought Jerusalem was the #1 tourist destination in all of the world? Why would they want to make it like Tel Aviv now? The young people like the nightlife of Tel Aviv while the older generation want the history of Jerusalem. It is a beautiful thing to see less terror attacks in Jerusalem as well. If we can get the rest of Israel and the Arabs to follow Jerusalem's example, there just might be hope for peace one day between the two people.
