I've read the OT, Gospels and Quran about 3 times each. No, I am not an atheist in the least! The Gospels, New Testament, are the most peaceful of the 3. The Quran is the 2nd most violent, and the Torah, OT, is hand down the most violent. Many people that had to deal with elderly parents will recognize the phenomenon of loss of inhibition. They can say the most weird, outrageous and embarrassing things. There is a reason why there is an age limit in many occupations and positions. Maybe the Charedim should consider retiring their elderly Rabbis rather than venerating them.
