The issue is that it is a serious problem throughout the Western World and worse - anywhere that there are wealthy people willing to pay for someone elses organs. A few years ago, some people "auctioned" their kidneys on Ebay and I recall one auction went over $1 million. Ebay soon put a stop to it.
