In the Turkish case, I know for a fact that most the Jews who are still living there are there mostly because they are very rich. As simple as that.

With 300 Jews left in a supposedly ‘safer neighborhood in the capital near the US embassy’, surely one airplane would be enough to bring to Israel the last remnant of one of the oldest Jewish communities in the Arab world. Because if you did you would know that most of them are struggling middle class. Many of them have tried life in Israel but have found it a very difficult adjustment process and have chosen to return. I do believe that the Turkish Jews like any other Jew has the right to choose to live where they wish. Clearly since you are in Montreal you agree. ;-)

Jews are not anymore very rich or even rich in Turkey.They are preferring to stay there because of addiction and false believe of ''things will get better'. Some of them name themselves nothing but first Turkish and keep trying to convince the muslims to accept them as equal citizents. In case they want to move they should move with love for the land of Israel and for the people of Israel. Moves coming out of fear or obligations will not be fruitful as the moves coming from the heart.
