SOME say that Israel is in violation of international law concerning nukes, though Israel is under no obligation since it hasn't signed the NPT. It is true that Turkey was a land of refuge for Jews fleeing the Inquisition and it is true that Palestine was a province of the Ottoman Empire where Jews lived with less persecution than many other lands. On the other hand, the videos of the Mari Marmara itself show beyond any doubt that the Israelis were violently attacked and were responding to avoid being killed.
