1. This is REALLY scary ! Such drivel penned by a person of
tom ,   tel aviv   (05.27.12)
obvious mental & inellectual capacities makes it clear, that people less educated stand no chance whatsoever in the face of religious humbug. That a person of sound mind, accepts idiocy of a desert rendezvous with God, who anly after tens of thousands of years of Mans existence chooses a back-water area of the planet, with primitive culture (He could've chosen the Chinese that were light-years ahead in science and understanding of the world) to present Humanity with mumbo-jumbo of goat-slaughtering, makes it so lame and plainly stupid that my mind (at least) cannot follow. But good luck to the Rebbe in spreading darkness & superstition: with the arrival of the Sudanese/Eritrean people he could have a new challenge on his hands. -Pity we don't proselytise.....
2. god
colin   (05.27.12)
What is this god thing ?? The imagitqtion of some idiot idol beleavers Why do they not praise nature ???
3. He wont reveal himself as his supposed messengers
Al   (05.27.12)
brain dead selfiish schnorrers like yourself who peddle feel good Judaism have hijacked our religion. In your 'religion', being lazy, not wanting to serve the country, denying our past and wanting to be liked at all costs seems to be the norm. No, I'm not talking about the the left. I'm talking about the supposed religious right who done a kippa, a beard and other parts of a uniform while at the same time you and yours pander to anything and anyone that pays you. You have no morals, you want to save 'peoples soul' while not wanting to do simple work. You work angles and spiels and genaiveshe shtick all the time everytime. You do not represent me, my religion or anyone. Now move on 'RABBI: you talk nonsense.
4. God doesn't reveal itself because
Almog   (05.27.12)
something that does not exist can't reveal itself.
5. I have contempt
Sagi   (05.27.12)
for obviously intelligent people who spout nonsense and drivel. I have sympathy for the idiots who take it in. Humankind is such a sad lot with this "god" thing. The sooner we get rid of it the better off for Mankind.
6. Let me see if I understood...
Sebastian ,   Jerusalem   (05.27.12)
God does not reveal itself because we are not worthy. But if it wants us to be worthy, why doesn't god reveal itself and takes us out of our doubt? Ah yes, because we have free will, and if it reveals itself we won't have any other choice more than believing. So it doesn't reveal itself and then I see no reason to believe in it, so I am not worthy and it doesn't reveal itself. Pretty clear. And, since we ALL have to be worthy, I am ruining the possibility to have a revelation for all the Jews. I'm sorry. This "logic" can work for any other religion, and actually most religions work with that. If you believe, you'll see god. If not, you won't. But I really need to have proofs before selecting a religion. By the way, the discussion of the Rabbi about the difference between animals and humans is extremely naive (and plainly wrong), as any one that knows a bit of biology can disprove it.
7. Sacrifice of the lips not of animals.
BUTSeriously ,   Sydney   (05.27.12)
Animal sacrifice became negated with the temple falling. Surely the implication is to do away with our animalistic traits only. All humanity indulged in sacrifice one time, but Israel displayed higher ground by first forbidding capital punishment.
8. For the Believers, it's Written.
(05.27.12)
For the Jews in Torah, it's around Deuteronomy 18:18. In the books of the Prophets, it's around 1 Kings 8:38. Does Levite tie in today for real? People like to see proof. Who can show their lineage? Then there's the story of doubting Thomas in the Christian Scriptures. He had to see that he could touch. Sealed prophesies fulfilled, there are revelations. There's the armor, dotting every "i" and slashing every "t" and the abomination of desolation in Jewish and Christian Scriptures. Islam can not be left out of all the good that's contained. These days, people can look at penalties for breaking the law as bad even with all the good intentions. It would be better if there were no reason to break the law. Comparing laws and penalties of the the holy books, penalties are weak today. In Christianity, Matthew was solid Levite. And in the book attributed by him, he wrote the words said spoken of by my Lord (Psalm 110), "Give not that which is holy unto the dogs, neither cast ye your pearls before swine, lest they trample them under their feet and turn again and rend you". See the matrix. The Branch of Jesse, out on a limb, turn it to a staff, the one Moses raised for battle. There's so much to thank the Lord for, including the ability to fight the good fight.
9. Adam and Eve,the first creation of "god"
Raptor   (05.27.12)
had two sons. One killed the other and that left Mama and Papa and one boy, and they procreated, interesting. I once asked a Rabbi if it is possible for a human to ascend a mountain in the middle of Sinai and remain there for 40 days without water. His reply was,no, of course not. So, I asked, how then did Moses acheive this amazing feat. If "god" wills it, so it shall be, was the bold reply.
10. To all the godless heathens: Psalm 14:1!
Taz Man ,   USA   (05.27.12)
God has revealed himself to Israel many times throughout history; especially, 2000 years ago, when He revealed himself through the second-person of the Trinity (His son Jesus Christ). But, like the rebellious and stiff-necked people the OT describes, the Jews rejected Him at his first-coming; they won't at his second-coming. He will come (at Israel's most desperate hour) when they finally call on the name of the Lord and realize whom they had pierced. To those lost souls who mock God: repent! Every senseless word you say...will be brought back into remembrance when you are judged; you will die in your sins without the saving blood of Christ shed for all on that Cross of redemption--period! Again: repent and seek God's Grace which can only be found in His Son! Choose wisely and mark your tongue, because He remembers all! God bless, Israel (His true Chosen) and His Jerusalem! A Christian Zionist
11. To all who mock God: read Psalm 14:1
Z.Z. Coltrane ,   USA   (05.27.12)
God bless, Israel; praying for the peace of Jerusalem!
12. A Simple Warning!
Jake Stone ,   USA   (05.27.12)
It's a foolish thing to mock God, when he holds the fool's last breath within His will. But, a fool respects nothing but his own, supposed, self-worth as a failed human being. God is no respecter of men; and, only a fool would tempt him. Hide in your caves, those who blaspheme the Lord, because his judgment is coming on all who reject his Truth!
13. Only through the Cross-of-Calvary...
Hank Steele ,   USA   (05.27.12)
...will the Jewish people find eternal redemption for their lost souls. The, soon, coming of the "Time of Jacob's Trouble" will remedy that; only a small Remant, as promised to Abraham, Isaac and Jacob will, ultimately, be saved. God bless, Israel! Christian Zionist
14. Be careful when mocking God:
Inte ,   USA   (05.27.12)
Hell is a very real place!
15. G-d revealed himself because
Randal ,   Little Rock, AR, USA   (05.27.12)
G-d revealed himself to the Hebrews because they were Chosen to be the bearers of the truth of the one G-d. Even so his transmission of Torah was done to a single representative of the Hebrews (Moses) and not to the Hebrew nation. Torah tells us that many did not want to be near close enough even to hear G-d's voice and that they were afraid. It seems to me that G-d met with man at Sinai because He had specific tasks to accomplish which was the dissemination of the law and the concept of monotheism. His meeting with humans was to preserve us and to allow us to know Him as he actually was. It was not because of any value or trait that we bore at the time of the meeting. For even while Moses was meeting with Him the people were departing from G-d by worshipping a golden calf. We must remember to always turn away from the golden calf and we must know that it is G-d who sought us even though we were ungodly and not the other way around! G-d pursued us because He wanted us to have life and the good things that we needed. It was not because of anything that we did!
16. #14
(05.27.12)
Been there lately? Also, hell does not exist in Judaism. The whole concept that a devil exists defies the concept of the divine. If the divine is divine, no such counter force can exist. Evil comes from one place and one place only, man. One day you other religions will evolve and realize that what Judaism says is truth, but until then, know that we appreciate the fact the descendants of former pagans are at least absorbing a distorted/watered down version of the divine words. Though I'd agree mocking divine is pointless, but not for the reasons you state.
17. What is this obsession?
Denise ,   Harlem   (05.27.12)
What is this obsession with things black 3,000 some years ago.

if you look to a chair you knows that thereis one make it and there is system in making it there is tools so if you do not believe in god the creator you should look to the universe it is done by science which we know little about it but there is science and system in evrything do you think it is the nature what nature it is the humans which they are here in earth but not in any other planet i think the knowledge support the believe on god and the beolieve on god support the progresion of knowledge
19. to 9
a woman ,   jerusalem   (05.27.12)
about the creation of adam god says - we create te humans then make their images it means the life or the soul is prior to the creation from soil .. and in another aspect god says - we create adam from the soil then we put the life or the soul // so the important here is not the image but the life itselfe which must be in good manner and the spoiling is not in image but in the soul or life it is by the human not god will
20. god doesn't exist, that's why.
ygalg ,   israel   (05.27.12)

Mike ,   London England   (05.27.12)
I absolutely understand your opinnion on this matter, and surely you are right. The solution to this still not to attack but to be open towards the people of Israel who lives for free... Because this way you leave the door open for THEM to be able to change their ways and realize that the only way to "save people" is to Humble them selves and take part of the huge work that the Israeli people do for their nation. And for this to happen instead of creating hate it is better to stay silent and be open towards them
22. All of creation groans with the desire...
Jody ,   tulsa, united states   (05.27.12)
For the manifestation of His sons...the people of the book who will rise up and make the sacrifice of their heart and lips. All creation waits with bated breath for Judah to inquire of His maker ...why haven't you revealed yourself to us for so long a time? Why have you remained silent all these years? When that happens to true Judah...then He will answer them. Be prepared for what you will hear. love and prayers
23. Only Judaism
Pixelated Dwarf ,   USA   (05.27.12)
Only Judaism lets people debate the points of faith that we have. Christians don't - they take everything on faith. Muslims don't - they kill people who don't agree. So debate is healthy - why do you think there is so much commentary on the Torah?
24. You err !!!.
Arn. ,   Sweden.   (05.27.12)
I Quote - Why won’t God reveal himself again? According to tradition, collective transcendence above ego was key for revelation Comment - Everything Divine begins with the Divine. The Divine begins with a call of a Servant - As in the case of Moses so in this case - Malachi 4 5 “Behold, I will send you Elijah the prophet before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the Lord. 6 And he shall turn the heart of the fathers to the children, and the heart of the children to their fathers, lest I come and smite the land with a curse.” In short. Arn.
25. he reveals himself ever day
Robert ,   Farmington,wv   (05.27.12)
God reveals himself every day just look outside , you can feel the wind but you cant see it , god works in the same way you may not see him but you know he is near......and for people that don't believe in him one day you will find out their is a god.... by that time it will be to late.
26. God will reveal to you if you turn back to him. Psalm 14:1!
Anthony Johnson ,   San Jose, Costa Rica   (05.27.12)
You want to see God revealing to your life ? Stop mocking all the things he has done for you. Turn your hearts back to him now that there's still time. God loves us so much that He sent his son so we can be saved and his name is Yeshua, the king of kings, lord of lords, the Messiah. He will return very soon during Israel's most desperate time and then you will finally see the kingdom of God forever and ever. Hashem bless you Israel (His true Chosen) and peace to Jerusalem! Another Christian Zionist :-)

david ,   Jerusalem   (05.27.12)
my mind cannot follow such level of stupidity either. we need more people like you. i joined the israeli atheists page on Facebook, and i'm sure there are much more of us out there who probably don't join out of fear of their environment. my word to you is please stop being afraid, it;s important to show the world israel is not only comprised of cavemen who still believe in the god fiction. show yourselves up!!
29. pathological nonsense
avramele   (05.27.12)
If I recall correctly from my college work in abnormal psychology, the wilingness to needlessly kill animals combined with ritualistic behavior is a warning sign of a psychopathic mind. and by the way I do recall what I was doing at Sinai. I was trying to recruit a party of friends to go out for chinese food after the sound and light show.

"And he said, The LORD came from Si'-nai, and rose up from Se'-ir unto them; he shined forth from mount Pa'-ran [Mecca in Arabic], and he came with ten thousands of saints: from his right hand went a fiery law for them. (The King James Version Bible, Deuteronomy 33:2 "Paran" is a biblical name for the part of Arabia called Hejaz where prophet Muhammad [pbuh] was born. When prophet Ishmael and his mother were driven out by Sarah; they settled in the "Wilderness of Paran" (Genesis, 21:21). Prophet Ishmael happens to be the progenitor of prophet Muhammad [pbuh]. . . ."Muhammad [pbuh] In the Bible,
