While it is essentially true that Ruth sought to live in Israel, she only sought to serve her mother in law, not "find a husband". The distinction of a bond servant of Israel is lost in the popular discourse here. The truth lies between the lines yet. The Land was given to the seed of Abraham, not seeds as in many, but one seed. The case for true and proper grafting into the house of Israel is still crying to be heard.
