The Mavi Marmara crew and passengers should not have been in that Israeli naval border zone in the first place. If some mad pro-Kurdish armed Israeli activists with nefarious intent charted a boat and headed towards Istanbul they would be asking for trouble. Some boundaries must be respected. If Turkey wants to be a peacemaker in the region there are other ways to do so rather than boundary violation.
