Obama has REPEATEDLY said that Assad should step down. And he's undertaken all sorts of diplomacy to ensure Assad becomes isolated. Perhaps you should get your news from places other than ynet talkbacks. Also, there was nothing Obama or the US could have done to save Mubarak. Obama supported Mubarak up to the point where the writing was on the wall and nothing could save him. If Obama would have tried to keep supporting Mubarak, it wouldnt' have saved Mubarak, it simply would mean the US would have even less influence in Egypt than it has now. The support the US has managed to keep in Egypt allowed it to help Israeli diplomats several months ago when their lives were threatened. .

What happened to Jews 70 years in Europe has nothing to do with Israel's relationship with the US in 2012. Obama has spent years undertaking diplomacy to isolate Iran, he has led the call for sanctions at the UNSC, he has ordered all sorts of covert activity against Iran (including the computer viruses we always hear about), and he has ensured the US military periodically threatens Iran to keep Iran on the edge. If the time comes for an attack, Obama and the US will lead it (which is good, because Israel doesn't have the capability to do it alone.) Perhaps you should show appreciation instead of whining.
