Exactly how does ORT, a Jewish organization ostensibly dedicated to benefit Jews justify its assistance to groups/countries whose ideology include the destruction of Israel and the extermination of Jews. I know about that from personal experience in Guinea (West Africa). I met by accident a Geneva-based executive from ORT who was there to extend a training contract between ORT and the Guinean government . This executive first told me to carefully mask my being Jewish because I could easily get assaulted/killed by the rabidly antisemitic Islamic mob that makes up 95% of the population of that country. When I asked him about ORT's involvement in Guinea -of all places-...his reply was...business is business! Methinks something is deeply rotten and quite "tref" within that organization.

as also exemplified in Jesus. Generating gratitude and economic interdependency is believed to be the road to respect and peace, or at least protection from mutual destruction.

I did benefit from ORT in Morocco and its great ORG and still remember it fifty years later
