# 1, How did you come up with the bright idea that Arabs 'don't pay taxes' it nuts how people think that the Arab-Israeli pay nothing, they work just as hard as you do and yes ,pay taxes, for everything and on everything.nothing is free in this world, you have to work and work hard for it.

... I do understand the delicate standing of the Arabic-speakers in the present regime. On the other hand, asking for Israel to be just another non-identified country is not a winning strategy. The best strategy is to ask for dis-establishment of religious categories altogether, and enshrinement of a Hebrew-centric Nationalion. This is a strategy which has an actual chance of reaching victory. The goal should be to turn the Other side of the River into the Arabic-centric country in "historical Palestine". Call it Palestine or call it whatever you like.

Exactly what does Israel get out of having a reluctant, untrustworthy, anti-Israel Arab population with full citizenship. It is obvious what the benefits are for Arabs, but really, what are the benefits for Israeli Jews???

I hope there will be more court cases exposing the shameful israeli policy against Arab citizens. If the Ministry indeed wants to prove its allegation that it doesnt discriminate between the Arab and israeli sectors, then it should prove it. Logically, when you look at these Arab institutions, one has no other ideas except that they are grossly underfunded, IF funded at all. Then you look at the haredi population in Jerusalem, who dont pay their taxes and see that they have full access to the benefits of such funds, and wonder why you never in your slightest mind thought that the 'state' of israel was other than a racist 'state'. and amen to the negative publicity, BDS, etc. you deserve all that you have sown.

1. The rate of paying local taxes (arnona) is approximately 30% in arab communities and 70% in Jewish communities (look it up if you don't believe me) 2. In my work I have business transactions with both Jewish and Arab independent contractors and business establishments. I can tell you from personal experience that there are Jewish business men who don't give receipts (kabbalot) the rate among the Arabs is much higher. This is an open secret that you won't see in the media because it's not politically correct.
