1. Evil: 1 ...
ag ,   St Augustine   (06.07.12)
2. Netanyahu, like Sharon, showed
Dov   (06.07.12)
that if there's no Torah, there's evil and lies.
3. Bibi
Dov   (06.07.12)
like Sharon, prove that if there is no fear of Heaven, there is no reason to fear mankind. They live a life of evil and lies and their promises cannot be trusted. If there's no Torah, there's wickedness and immorality.
4. Does Kadmon understand?
israel israeli ,   tel aviv   (06.07.12)
Kadmon is celebrating that Netanyahu defeated the settlers, in other words, ignored the wishes of the people who elected him. Countries where the leader works for the people and follows the wishes of his voters as expressed in free and fair elections are called democracies. Countries where the leader lies to the people, ignores election results and imposes his will, whether by bribery, trickery or violence are something completely differernt. Like any good Leftist, Kadmon cheers at the destruction of Israel's democracy.
5. i did not know it was a contest
avi   (06.07.12)
Hmm Idid not know it was a contest ..I though we were dealing with our future ,our security..not destroying what we build...interesting title in the self haters guide to Israel
6. Well-done Netanyahu
neutral israeli ,   tel aviv   (06.07.12)
He showed great signs of leadership . The only leader of Israel nowadays ! He did it Big-time .
7. What Bibi did is one thing.
David ,   Karmiel, Israel   (06.07.12)
The spineless and self seeking "right wing" ministers in his Government have mad a laughing stock of themselves and have reinforced the public opinion that politicians are just a bunch of power drunk people with no morals or ethic at all. There is no "superglue" in this world strong than that that affixes a minister's backside to his ministerial seat!
8. Here we go again
Shelly ,   Raanana   (06.07.12)
A Likud PM backing down on his word and dissing the voters who supported him. Bibi cannot be trusted.
9. And sitting at his improvised desk...
Gideon Reader   (06.07.12)
...sipping from his tall sweating glass of iced tea, a fellow named Moshe Feiglin smiled quietly to himself and continued his work. The chorus in shadows; sotto voce quoth: "Kol haKvod".

11. Bibi's latest betrayal will hopefully be his last.
Chaim ,   Israel   (06.07.12)
Bibi didn't teach anybody a lesson. He simply betrayed Likud's Constitution, Likud and the vast majority of Israeli voters once again. Hopefully, this will be the last chance Bibi ever gets to betray Israel. Change is coming.
12. Bibi only has courage when it comes to evicting Jews
Rachel ,   US   (06.07.12)
13. Bibi won?
M Doobov ,   Jerusalem, Israel   (06.07.12)
It may turn out to have been a Pyrrhic victory as right-wing voters look further right next elections for a politician who can be trusted (or is that oxymoronic?). And what is moral about demonstrating one's untrustworthiness?
14. Are you kidding me ?
jonatan ,   Argentina   (06.07.12)
Up until few months ago, the whole media use to claim he didn't do anything. Now that he does something, they call him "king" where the is the balance ?
15. #13
Jonathan ,   MN/US   (06.07.12)
"a politician who can be trusted (or is that oxymoronic?)" yes. Yes it is.
16. Ariel Sharon was master of the house.
Steve Klein   (06.07.12)
17. 14 the whole media is property of kings lol
J.Gedalov ,   Israel   (06.07.12)
including a court like you or me. you can decide to reply comments or to be original. Watch your behavior on stage, otherwise you will read talkbacks allegations that u were using improperly the public opinions...or the "copy & paste" tools lol! i love democracy and you?
18. Netanyahu needs to show leadership & withdraw from West Bank
christianpalestinian ,   las vegas   (06.07.12)
Israel must withdraw from all occupied Palestinian territory so that peace can move forward.
19. Settlers have to know limits but should push ahead
Sam ,   Canada   (06.07.12)
The settlers can't do however they please but they should push ahead and aim to become the majority on the West Bank. So long as the Palestinians show no legitimate desire for peace (acceptance of a Jewish majority Israel) Netanyahu should encourage them. If Jews can't have peace they should build the Jewish homeland.
20. #18 Peace can move forward to what? What is peace to Pals?
Sam ,   Canada   (06.07.12)
Palestinians don't want to say what peace is because they still hope to take over all of Israel. They want Israeli concessions in return for nothing. Palestinians are always assuming that Jews and the West can be fooled.
21. If the 850 new units in Bet El will indeed be constructed...
Keren ,   IL-BR   (06.07.12)
...,and quickly,we could say that Bibi won ,and that, in a certain way,all Israel won. The only thing is that such winning has required one korban(sacrifice) and the korban are the people of Ulpana. Bibi shut up the mouth of those “palestinians” intending to use the legal system of Israel the way it is(wrongly) structured now,in their “benefit” and against Israel, and Bibi response was:"ok"take "your"land ,but get thousands of Jewish neighbors right at your side, right now, and these Jews will eventually re-buy these lands,”you can bet”. It was a clever move, with a sad "comission "to be payed, which are the people of Ulpana,as I said before. Bibi could had let the bill pass, because the bill was legal,as legal as the Court ruling. It would only, legaly, circumvent that, and, besides, he could order the construction of 850 new units. In this way ,no korban would be utilized, but,in the other hand, there would be an uproar in Israel and in the "international community".With his move,he avoided such things. This can be a good output ,but it will only be really a good output if: 1)The promisse is kept and the construction of the 850 units start right now. 2)The subject “High Court”is brought to political agenda of Israel since it is a matter to be discussed and changed. 3)Israel keeps constructing and constructing many, many towns from now on.
22. To # 4 Only a PM from the right can
Stan ,   Israel   (06.07.12)
bring Peace to Israel. Why is it that all the Likud prime ministers from Begin to Ulmert have been willing to give up occupied land for Peace? (Bibi has yet to prove himself ) It seems that when they have to take responsible decisions concerning the future of Israel, they realise that the only way to guarantee the future of the state, is to follow the policies of the center left.
23. in the game
(06.07.12)
0 - 1 . some of the people do not like this result the w orst is most of people do not care
24. Sima Kadmon
Yisraeli   (06.08.12)
Your just a simple minded jew hater ie self loather. You think its all a game where the lives of jews mean nothing to you. To you its all about teaching religeous jews that seculars are the bosses and damned be the rest. People like you are destryoing your own house. Feckless fool. Unfortunately theres many like you in Israel. Medinat Chelm, only chelmniks can be so foolish to destroy the only house they live in. Israel will not last if it were people like you she had to depend on. Settlers are the only true Zionists left the rest are just materialistic greedy self servers Probably wont pass censorship huh?. Im sick of the lot of you.
25. winners and losers.
michael Pielet ,   Israel   (06.08.12)
Bibi lost, Israel lost. Evil and the enemies, the high court, of the Jewish people won.
26. #21: Why should there always be a
Israeli 2   (06.08.12)
"korban" as you put it? Israel is all ours to begin with. This is not a good tactic nor a good policy. 1. Annex all of the areas "in dispute" 2. Annex Jerusalem. 3. Get a true Jew with Torah values to defend Israel....and finally...most important of all...ignore everyone else.
27. Right decision, wrong interpetation
Norman Gellman ,   Rehovot   (06.08.12)
Bibi's decsion was right but to look at it as a defeat to settlers is incorrect. Passing a reteroactive law should never be allowesd. Retroactive laws are in fact anti-democratic. Once the president is estabvlished theer is no controlling where it will end. Reroacticve laws can put an end to democracy. Democracy must be based on law & order monitere by an independant (supreme) court.
28. Bibi1 settlers 0
Floriane ,   Israel   (06.08.12)
He is on his way to destroy Israel and what so many people fought to keep our land. Don't we have enough with hords of foreigners and migrants thrashing our land He Has to protect the Jews. Where are they going to go? Enough trauma to settlers and their kids
29. #22. Israeli left is completely discredited.
Chaim ,   Israel   (06.08.12)
#22. You must know that the Israeli left has been completely wrong on every major issue since Israel was founded. Everything from Oslo, to Disengagement, to Arafat, to freeing terrorists to...everything. The Israeli left is completely discredited. The Israeli right is now dominant. It is only a matter of time, till the true patriotic leadership emerges that almost all of Israel wants.
30. #29
Stan ,   Israel   (06.10.12)
Chaim, we will continue to disagree, but you did not answer my question. Why do Likud leaders like Begin, Ezer Weitzman, Sharon, Ulmert, and now (partly anyway) Natanyayu, believe that the only way to solve the ME problem is the eventual formation of a Palestinian State alongside Israel?
