1. Sadly, the concepts expressed in Iranian textbooks are part
Jehudah Ben-Israel ,   Qatzrin, Israel   (06.09.12)
and parcel of the predominant thinking throughout the Muslim world, Arab and non-Arab alike. We, in Israel, face it regularly with the expressions, and deeds, of the Arabs with whom we share our homeland of Eretz Israel (Land of Israel). Sadly, some at the highest level of the American administration, naively, assume otherwise....

5. hate?
Tomek ,   Poland   (06.09.12)
"These textbooks included hate literature that included the glorifying of a 13-year old child soldier who had strapped a grenade to himself and blown himself up under an Iraqi tank during the Iran-Iraq war. " Although 'hate' and 'hatred' seem favorite words among Jews, people do not understand what they actually mean. The act of the child soldier destroying an enemy tank is heroism. 'Hate' and 'heroism' are not synonymous. Any normal person uses the word 'hate' twice a year, at most.
6. I'd have to see the books for myself before
Edithann ,   USA   (06.09.12)
I believe any of it....It's BS to me... TATA
7. @Tomek the confused
Dan ,   Tel Aviv   (06.09.12)
That 13 yr old bomber is a famous story in Iran, as he is considered the first modern Islamic suicide bomber or in their words, martyr. It was used to and still is to promote other similar actions, including those who are not in war, which that boy was. Forget about that story though....is the part about apes not hatred or do you actually consider Jews to be apes and so true that it's not hatred? I am sure there are plenty of other examples in these books that just don't fit in a short article....judging by Arab books regarding Jews, I wouldn't put it past the Iranians to do the same or worse.

i dont know why the wetern countries have diplomatic relations with iran ??!!! iran is the largest sponsorer of terrorism in the world , it should be isolated and there shouldnt be any relations between it and the west like the aabs have no relations wit Israel , the west should have no relations with Iran , also there are some arab countries who have no relations with Iran like Egypt , the western countries should do the same and cease the relations with Iran shalom
9. Iranian textbooks Number 5 Tomek
Adam ,   London   (06.09.12)
What are you talking about Tomek ? theuse of the word hate is not applied to the well known incident of the boy martyr in the Iraq/Iran war. Try and watch last weeks BBC Panorama about your fellow countrmen and womens behaviour on the football terraces, thats definately hate.

First you have to learn to read, then you would require reading comprehension. Both are far beyond you capability. You are total BS

One word to answer your question: Oil. Oil is the most obvious way that supposedly "moral" and democratic countries sell their souls. It's a gateway drug into other unmoral actions.

Oh, the great Beeb. Read an article in the Economist which contains a letter by Jonathan Ornstein, the executive director of the Jewish Community Centre of Krakow. He took part in the BBC program you are referring to.
16. Tomek # 5. I am a son in law of Polish holocaust survovors
Arnold ,   Canada   (06.09.12)
Hate as a verb and as a noun. Christian Polish mothers lactate hate into their babies. These babies hate Jews. But as a result both my in laws relished in the post WW11 suffering these Poles under communism and crummy economy. Never once did they ponder to go back to Poland for fear they would spend a penny on them. And that was THEIR HATE FOR YOU AND YOUR COUNTRY.

I think you are overlooking the fact that the child had the grenade strapped to him and then was tossed underneath the treads of an Iraqi tank. Really heroic. By the way -- my parents were born in Poland. The rest of my family were murdered there -- in Treblinka, Auschwitz, Belzec, Krakow-Plaszow -- I use the word "hate" more than twice a year, and I am very justified. Certainly as justified as Glemp, who used the word "hate" eleven times in his commemmoration speech when those hate-filled Polish Catholics built a convent, of all things, at the site of the Auschwitz concentration camp. That speech, interestingly enough, lasted for over an hour, and mentioned only one Jew -- Jesus Christ. Who did not die in Auschwitz. On the other hand, three million Jews did. You do the math, you little creep.

Just be careful, the fact that number 5 wrote he is from Poland is not necessarily true, he could from Russia, for example.

Facts are facts. It makes no difference where he is from. What Sarah said is true.

Why didn't the Canadian's find it before allowing children to see it? Don't they screen their textbooks prior to approving their content? Sounds like they were discovered by some good-hearted Iranian's in Canada instead. At least they were discovered and can be removed, I hope.

If this is going on in Canada,I'm sure it's going on in the good old US of A as well, probably worse.Check out your own backyard first instead of making inane comments. Do you check your textbooks,in all your schools,in the whole country? Give me a break.
23. To Tomek #5
Susan ,   Kfar Saba   (06.09.12)
Using a child under the age of 18 as a soldier is against international law and child abuse of the worst sort. No one can justify it.
24. Eagleprick, may I ask what bring you here?
Persian CAT   (06.09.12)
You don't bring BS here, for sure. You ARE it.
25. 10. Right back at you...
Persian CAT   (06.09.12)
26. Sarah BS. You don't have a clue, as usual...
Persian CAT   (06.09.12)
Do you have any proof about the kind of claptrap you keep posting about the Iranian youth you defended their country against a much better armed and organized attacker. Keep pulling this stuff out of your Zionist derriere. It won't make it any difference. You will take your wish to see Iran defeated to your grave, sistah.

When, or if, any american children start taking the Iranian language classes referred to here I and Im sure true americans will check the textbooks used. Read the article these were special classes use mostly Im sure by Iranians in Canada (and possibly in the US) to maintain their language for their children. So it IS UP TO the Education authority if the Iranian parents donT object.

Tomek ... 13 year olds blowing themselves up under tanks was no heroism... The Ayatollahs forced them to do so...and it wasn't out of love... I would have expected more from you.. Concerning Jews, don't look for problems where there aren't any....!
29. #23
Tomek ,   Poland   (06.09.12)
What you wanted to say is that in a perfect world children should not participate in war. That is true. In Warsaw, we have The Little Insurgent monument honoring all the child soldiers who died in the Warsaw Uprising. The circumstances forced them to take up arms, otherwise they would have been sitting ducks. I m sure, the Iranian kid's circumstances were not much different. But this is beside the point. I just do not see how the Iranian child's deed is hateful towards Jews. That was my point.
30. #18 "You use the word "hate" more than....
Robert ,   Australia   (06.10.12)
.....absolutely anyone. "Hate" is a destructive emotion and quite evidently your hatred has destroyed you insofar you don't have a good word for anyone except yourself.
