Perhaps the battle would have gone somewhat differently had the Polish resistance been willing to work alongside the Jews, but they didn't want to help the Jewish people, so I guess we'll never know. The sacrifice of the Iranian children is not necessarily hateful toward Jews, but it says a great deal about the mindset of Iran's leadership. With the passage of time, the mullahs and ayatollahs have only gotten more radical and fundamentalist. When they announce their intention to destroy the State of Israel, there is no reason to doubt them. Of course it will never happen, but that is no reason to doubt their resolve. The children who fought against the Nazis in Warsaw did so voluntarily and for a good reason. That is very different from strapping dynamite to a little boy and throwing him under the treads of a tank.

No doubt she has many good words for you, some of which may be printable. While you may find children cast under tanks as heroic I find it's a product of a culture of hate that is willing to sacrifice it's children simply out of spite for others. Normal people don't give their children plastic keys to paradise and then send them to their deaths.

First of all, I do not use the word "hate" more than absolutely anyone. You should read some of the material posted by supporters of the ersatz "Palestinians." That said, hatred -- when appropriately expressed -- is a very cleansing emotion. Do you mean to suggest that were I to say that I hate the Nazi Germans who were responsible for the destruction of so much of my family, I am engaging in destructive behavior? Were I to say that I hate the terrorists who fire missiles into Israel and threaten the lives of Jews, is that destructive behavior? If both those hatreds have filled me with a steely resolve that the State of Israel must be protected at all costs, that's seeing things with such perfect clarity that your soul is uplifted. But you wouldn't understand. You are much too busy hating Jews and hating the State of Israel to see beyond your narrow little world.

I also recall a comic book by an American-Jewish author in which Jews were depicted as mice, Germans as cats, and Poles as pigs. Go figure.

Poland gave Jews safety for a few centuries until 1800s when a violent antisemitism kicked in. In 14 th century it was the only European nation that welcomed Jews. In 18th, 19th and 20 th centuries Pols became violent toward Jews. So lets thank them for the past hospitality.
