Sherlock Holmes ,   London England   (06.10.12)
Strangely enough this issue to not identifying the burial place of stillborns has been a problem here in London's United Synagogue. I suspect the IDF is following standard policy and not being difficult to migrants.
2. ynet scraping bottom of barrel again for news.
Julie ,   Israel   (06.10.12)
Trying to implicate the IDF yet again. And btw, the gentleman should have stopped in Egypt ....the country closest to his and also Moslem.
3. Garbage
Sane ,   Out there   (06.10.12)
Sentimental,sanctimonious crap.
4. One more muslim trick.
Keren ,   IL-BR   (06.10.12)
This man wants to pick up some problems to Israel and delay his impending departure. Lies, lies and more lies. 1500 deportations are nothing. All of them must go ,because they have a country and they must go to THEIR COUNTRY.
5. Who in their right mind ...
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (06.10.12)
.... shleps a heavily pregnant woman across two borders on foot? Sorry, but I'm really moved only for the dead little girl, whose father's stupidity and selfishness is the reason she never drew breath to begin with. And now we're supposed to think he should be allowed to visit her grave. I don't think so. Send him packing to South Sudan. He as good as murdered his daughter, and I don't believe a single self-serving word he utters.
6. To No2
Mabsurfing ,   Nahariya, Israel   (06.10.12)
I agree that refugees should stop on the first country they arrive, in this case Egypt, however, if they continue to risking their life to get to Israel is because is obvious that being in Egypt is like being in Sudan, however, the UN should do its job and make sure they stop there and do not continue to Israel. One more thing, you are right Egypt is a muslim country but South Sudan is christian, northern Sudan is muslim.
7. He remembered after 3 years....
Reuben ,   Tel Aviv   (06.10.12)
For 3 years he was not concerned where she was buried. Now when he is to be deported he suddenly remembered the customs. Every person has a right to know the place where his dear ones are buried, But this guy's intentions are suspicious. He is just doing it to stay in Israel.
8. crappy article, deport them all

Wang Zuli ,   Shanghai   (06.10.12)
There are many news about bad migrants in order to make reasonable the deportation.

chava ,   yerushalayim   (06.10.12)
Give the guy a little credit. He & his wife probably thought that if the baby was born in Israel, he or she would automatically be an Israeli citizen, & would have a better life than in South Sudan. And perhaps he & his wife would also be allowed to stay. Perhaps they should have thought of that sooner, when the wife wasn't so far along in her pregnancy. (Mexicans are known to try to give birth in the USA for the same reasons, although the problem in Mexico is almost entirely economic, whereas in South Sudan, it may also be security.

I wish you would do the same and go back to your country!
14. i am shocked by these talkbacks
orli naaman ,   jerusalem israel   (06.10.12)
i would not be if they did not come from Israel, but many do. I am for the deportation of the migrants where it is RIGHT, but do some homework before writing please! The SOUTH Sudanese are CHRISTIAN and not moslem, first of all. They left horrific war before they became a country. They were slaughtered. Did you even TALK to one of these who walked as did so many of our people?? How many of OUR people died and lost babies on their trek? NO! I am NOT a 'soft in the head' liberal, but I really DID think that we had a higher standard to answer to. we need to be very careful and remember the faces of those who lynched one of us in ramala...

Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (06.10.12)
Israel is the Jewish homeland, and has been for 5,700 years. You, on the other hand, come from the Arabian peninsula. Go home to your country.
16. #14 I beg to differ
Debbie ,   N.Y.   (06.10.12)
"The South Sudanese are Xtian"? I beg to differ, these people are OPPORTUNIST , this is their faith when it comes to Israel, breaking the law of a country that they want to be accomadated in irresponsibly, THEY HAVE NOTHING TO GIVE,,,, send them home and by the way Ynet you should be ashamed of yourself for this article, it serves no purpose.

2Mad ,   ירושלים, ארץ ישראל   (06.10.12)
I have no doubt that you are kind and nice person. But you refuse to consider that the war broke in THEIR country, and it's them, not somebody else, who is supposed to fight for freedom. Moreover, if you are a honest man, if in the middle of a deal your business partner is lying to you, one should stand up and leave at once. Now it's clear they weren't running OUT of they country, as they said, but going TO Israel. Otherwise they would stop in Egypt, wouldn't they ? Moreover, they didn't cross the deserts barefoot, but used their well-established smuggling channels. Letting them stay means fuelling this whole inhumane business. If something has to be stopped - there's no enough tears to help it - it must be done.
18. Aftrican Migrants
lluvia ,   france   (06.10.12)
I fully agree with Orli Naaman, plus dont forget those sudaneese accepted to host the "Fallacha" for sevral months before they were able to fly to Israel . A solution must be found, I agree Isael cannot host the entire population of Africa, but hate is not the way
19. Deportation of these people is tricky business
rebecca ,   Modiin   (06.10.12)
Yes they are potential refugees - South Sudan has had major problems, but these problems are supposed to have been resolved. But they have come in such numbers that we are overwhelmed. The UN has not seen fit to help these people. the reason for that can be debated. But it is clear that many are NOT refugees, but looking for a better life. If we could give it to them we would, but we are still trying to cope with our own refugees, from the Arab countries, from Ethiopia etc. We have no choice but to tell these people to go home - we cannot help you. PS - why would someone travel with a pregnant wife? How long did they travel for? It might have been the lesser of the two evils.
20. What happened to the stillborn baby?
(06.10.12)
Why can't the parents see the grave?
21. #15 - 5,700 years? whahaha
Uri the Canaanite ,   Canaan   (06.10.12)
